My oldest son is preparing to retire from the Army, has, or had I should say 15 days before going on terminal leave. He came down to Orlando from Ft. Stewart a week or so ago to run in the Disney Star wars Marathon. That's when I found out that he was going to donate a kidney to an army buddy. Didn't noise it around, just did it. What a way to cap off 22 years of service.
The Fox station in D.C. picked up the story. . .

You can read the pride in your post. Tell your son the rest of us old retirees say congratulations on retirement and thanks for his years of service.

What an outstanding, and gracious young man you have there. A true friend, and a very compassionate person. :)
