My mom is going into "very touchy" surgery the day after her birthday in a couple of weeks and Mark Cuban comped her tickets to tonight's Mavericks game!

Thanks, all. She turns 89 the day before the surgery and every one on her side of the family makes it into their 90s. (Well, except for my grandfather who was a heavy smoker.)
My sister and BiL were just looking to get tickets down low since she would have a hard time getting to the nose-bleed section, but they were sold out. Cuban told my sister, via email, to check in at the will-call window. When she did she learned that there was no charge.
PHX won, though. :D

That's prety freaking cool. I like Mark Cuban. I am glad your mom had a good time. I hope all is well with her.
I will certainly be praying for her and her upcoming surgery as well as believing for her to have a complete and quick recovery.

Well, the old girl is pretty tough! She was supposed to be in ICU for 3 days and a room for 5. She's home now. It's her side of the family that came over on the Mayflower. ;) Breast tumor that she ignored for almost 15 years. It was the size of a grapefruit. Malignant but, apparently, not metastasized.
Again, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! And to Mark Cuban for giving her a great night before going under the knife!

Glad to hear she is doing so well. My mom is 94, every day she is still walking around is a blessing.
