Lol, I admit to fondling another piece (or two) at the local fun show...
And, and,....sometimes...at the range...
...I switch calibers...

It took a lot of courage to admit to caliber switching on a public forum. Don't beat yourself up about it. We all have our little secrets......
-I once used cash to pay for an 'off-brand' 1911 pistol.
-I have a .357 revolver; I only shoot .38 special in it because the bullets are cheaper and didn't kick as much.
-I also did some experimenting with a .25 automatic when I was a PFC. I even kept it in my barracks room a few times.
...my buddies probably would have whipped my ass if they had known the truth.

I have some issues too....... I've not really discussed them with anyone.
As I get older I'm having a difficult time keeping it up and my rhythm, well it's definitely off. And it's also hard to hide from the public as it's so big and I rarely use it anymore.
In fact I might as well tell you, I've not used it in a couple of years. I do think about it and how much fun I've had with it......
So I've switched from a .45 to a .40.

Ahhhh - the incremental approach! The standard technique Former Action Guys use to delay the inevitable acceptance of the fact that they're no longer the "hombre" they used to be. :p
(FWIW - I took the plunge and went straight to 9mm! No half measures for this guy. If I'm going to throw in the towel, I'm going for broke. (OK - I'm already broke so it wasn't that big of a deal.) No more fumbling 3 x 7-round reloads with arthritic hands when I can start with a 21 round mag and simply hose the joint down!)
