This photo was apparently taken last night by an astronaut aboard the ISS.

It shows the Front Range of Colorado, with Cheyenne WY to the left and Colorado Springs to the right. Ft Morgan is at the top of the frame.

I say, in another 50 years, there won't be a division between Denver and the Springs. Mores the pity. :(

That is quite the spread, considering the actual distance it does sort of tighten things up a bit. That's just a bit over 170 miles across.

Concur - I was first stationed there in '92. At the time, it was a bit of a haul through no-where land (very nice) to get to Denver. Back in '98 and the ghost towns of Cripple Creek etc are all Casinos with bus routes in and out of town. Most recently spent a month at the Air Force Academy camping and it's basically one long urban route from the Springs into Denver. The drive from Cheyenne was relatively uneventful until we hit Denver. Then people started playing "Ricky-Bobby" all the way to the Springs.

Beautiful area still though...it looks like the Broadmoor is captured to the west of the Springs.

That's why I finally left after 24 years. Where I'm at now in Idaho is incredible. No further details. :p

Smart move. Don't EVER let anyone fool you into thinking Zulus ain't too bright.

You ARE eventually going to send grid coordinates down to us, still in the occupied zone(s), for when the SHTF and we need to bug out to a safe zone, right?

If not, I'm sure we'll be able to pick up the trail of bread crumbs you left. :p

In due time. On my way home from A-Stan, for the last time, and have got a lot of work to do in fortifying my foxhole, I mean "chateau" before I post a rally point. However, in my initial assessment, this area could definitely serve as a stronghold if necessary. :D:lifter
