I am sure most of you guys are already aware of this site, but for those of you who aren't http://www.adoptasniper.org/.

It is a site run by police and SWAT snipers back here in the States who raise money to purchase items for various sniper elements in combat zones. They get the snipers anything from snivel gear, rangefinders, scopes, or whatever else they need. At a time when the military is expanding the number of snipers and their role especially in an urban environment, the realities is that for many less-than-awesome units the commanding officers and NCOs do not have the experience or budgets to equip their sniper platoons w/ the best gear.

Looks like a good cause to me [thumbsup]

Bearflag,

Just so the readers know this is not a charity. It has nothing to do with charity and is nothing more than sending some guys some hoorah gear.
We also do not require a sniper summary on this website, to us it's an additional duty and not an MOS.

Think before you post. This is not military .com or sniper.com. Do not mislead our readers, I will not tolerate mis/dis-information.

Sorry about that, I didn't intend to imply it was "charity" even tho that is the word I was using. My intent was just to show a good site w/ good intentions. The way I see it is that any extras these guys get is a good thing, sorry if I tone in my post.
