Some of this could belong in the humor section but for the sake of political discussion Soapbox is good.
I read this homemade sign that reads: If men could get pregnant birth control and abortion would be safe & affordable & a holy sacrament. (Plenty of capitalization and cramped wording.)
So, three things come to mind.
1) We wouldn't need women anymore.
2) The same issues would continue to exist regarding birth control and abortion.
3) Now men would become hormonal once a month and have hemorrhage cycle.
On the plus side, the embarrassment of buying tampons at the grocery store would be gone.
An entertaining comment I saw regarding the protests:
So a bunch of women are marching in protest so a man will take them seriously and fix their problems for them?

So.. WTF are you saying? please clarify?
So, are you finding issue and making mockery of 3 million women's (across the world by the way) grievances?
Are there any 1st amendment violations taking place during this protest BTW?
Relax Francis, it's mostly satire. I've no grievance with anyone exercising their right to protest or peaceful assembly.
I might probably be mocking several thousand or hundreds of thousands of the protesters for what they are protesting about because I find it goes against not only our constitution but it goes against common human decency and decorum.
Now, since the public rancor brought to our daily lives since the campaign trail rhetoric by the democrats to discredit the republican candidate for words he had in private conversation (of which I find humorous but distasteful) were made public. I have been forced to use a great amount of restraint and avoidance of our constitutional process to elect a sitting president for office; so that I may raise and be the father of a nine year old boy who repeats everything he hears.
Chants and shouting "Grab my pussy" "Grab this pussy" and all the hand painted signs of vaginas on public display in the media coverage are simply not a "grievance" up for public consumption.
Now, the absurdity of suggesting that if men could become pregnant would somehow fix all that's wrong with Roe vs. Wade, the Bible or the interpretation of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights...I'm all ears. I'm not religious enough to say abortion is a sin, or feminist enough to agree that abortion is a woman's choice after making bad choices, or for or against other medical reasons of host life and fetal termination for grave health reasons or financial capacity. I'm not for or against abortion, and not because I don't have a reproductive system. I just simply think the government shouldn't be involved and I shouldn't be forced to pay for it for someone else who made poor choices!
And now for the other "perceived grievances" on display yesterday. Can you show me where in the constitution or where exactly Donald J. Trump before becoming the President of the United States actively promoted salary caps for Hollywood actors, female musicians, or women in the workforce upto and including female CEOs of multimillion dollar companies or has shown a preponderance of evidence to support he or the constitution to have actively discriminated based on sex, race, religion, age, and now sexual orientation?
Or was that just what the liberal media and the Democratic Party have had to say?
So what was the point of yesterday's march if not a condemnation of the political policies of the last eight years or longer. A lot of talk and little progress has been made but none of it has anything to do with President Trump - YET!
The 1st Amendment certainly let's everyone show thier ass...so some folks are upset with an election result...<yawn>...upset happens every election cycle...this display was just a little different.
1mm women example of why Trump won an electoral landslide.
Even the FEMA camp tin foilers from 2008 were not this energized.

I had the same experience when I read that several Canadian women were turned away at the border when they announced at customs they were heading down to DC to protest Mr. Trump. I laughed even harder when I found out they were detained for a couple of hours and now require more documentation when they next visit the US.

Feminist have no one to blame but themselves and they are pissed.
I've watched this spectacle since the late 60's ebb and flood. Each time it's flooded they have set themselves back and had to start over again. Some if not all advances made in small increments were washed away in the popular opinion backlash.
They don't just want equality they want to have superiority of thought.
If they had told Hillary, no, not you, not this time, they would have been more successful than at any point in history to advance their social mandate. But, they doubled down again as they have in history before and came away with the counter effects of their bullhorn bullying.
Every time I see a car with a "Feel the Bern" bumper sticker, I smile and ask, what could have been...and then I say...thank you Hillary. Thanks for everything!
I'm still waiting for all the Hollywood elites and those in social media types to move out of the country and renounce their citizenship. Guess I'll be waiting a long time, all talk, no action.
I wonder what would have happened at the borders (north and south) if 2-million dissatisfied American people tried to cross? I'm thinking they would be denied and turned back.

Do you want a women's prospective to this March? To me, it was a bunch of hooey....Well, to be truthful I think some of them are just very bitter about who was elected President and think by crying, and stomping around like little school children, they can change the outcome. Stop complaining and go on with your lives and stand up and support this Country. I did not vote for Trump, but as an American, it is our duty and responsibility as citizens to stand with the President. This shows unity, strength, and helps this country heal. I do not feel by being a woman that I am threatened in anyway, I do not feel I lack opportunity, I am not worried about losing the right to choice, or my rights as a women in this country. I am not a feminist, but I do believe in equal pay, equal rights, and equal respect as everyone else. I have no issues with a man calling me "sweetheart or beautiful", I enjoy a man holding the door open for me, saying hello, and telling me that I look lovely today. I don't think as a woman that I can do all the things that men do, and I don't want too. To me, they have forgotten what it is like to be a Woman, and this country has become so politically correct, that it is insane. So I want to stand up for all us real women and say, hey all you men start calling us Beautiful again, hold that door, and a whistle or two would help :o;)

Feminism = crabs in a pot
They demonstrate no loyalty nor appreciation for the system that has liberated them from the law of the jungle.
When push comes to shove, there will be no loyalty demonstrated among their own.
It is long past time that someone tells America's spoiled children NO. Enough is enough and Donald is going to be a tough parent.

so if it wasn't a political march, and pro-life womens groups were not allowed to attend...
...then can this be characterized as a pro-choice event?
they said everyone was protesting the same thing....
I wonder why they are against letting a female immigrant live in the white house
...and why they are so angry that a women was able to run a successful presidential campaign
...and why they are so mad at a guy that is pro-choice according to tea party supporters?
these women marchers must hate women...
...maybe they are apolitical Hillary supporters

So now women want the same rights as guns? WTF?
The right to be restricted from going to places like jewelry stores, schools, public buildings, airplanes, polling places?
The right to be locked up when not in use?
The right to be kept away from children?
The right to be subjected to a background check before obtaining one?
Now that I think about it, perhaps some of that is okay. :D

Let them protest I don't care. Burning places, blocking traffic and assaulting people that disagree with your point of view is not protesting it is rioting, that I do have a problem with.
It seems these "peaceful protesters" yell 1st amendment all the time while showing their tits etc, but disagree with them or look at their tits and you are some type of sub human animal that should STFU and be put in a cage or reeducation camp so they are the ones making a mockery of the 1st amendment not me.
As for the peaceful ones let them protest, I am just not clear on hat they are bitching about other than their candidate lost the election and they are throwing a temper tantrum until they get their way like a small child.
I think the best part is if Hillary had not screwed Sanders they way she did he would have won the nomination and probably the election. Not only did she screw Sanders but the democratic party and all their followers. That I find funny.
BTW wonder what the total tonnage of all the fat women wheezing along the protest march was. I bet there were more lbs at Obamas party than Trumps :D
Whhhaa, Whhhaaaa, OMG, I had to read this again and this was hilarious: (BTW wonder what the total tonnage of all the fat women wheezing along the protest march was. I bet there were more lbs at Obamas party than Trumps :D[/QUOTE])...
I was thinking on the same lines when I watched the evening news and they interviewed some of the protesters in DC, PA...sorry that was mean...they might be really nice people, until they get ticked off and start stampeding and then I will be in trouble...:) I am kidding, really but it was funny....:)

It took me awhile to come up with the proper diagnosis. There are/were so many symptoms the differential diagnosis was complicated. But then I really listened to the complaints from Ashley Judd and Madona, and even a transgender complaint from Michael (formerly Michele) Moore.
Then it just hit me. Vaginitis (aka Clintonitis)
- Berning sensation
- Itchy feeling to do something about it
- Constantly grabbing of the crotch area to relieve pain
- A desire to seek help/support online from other sufferers
- Paintings, drawings and latex pictures of the issue to overcome any possible language barriers, and then ultimately this...
- A self proclamation of being "nasty" and suffering from severe potty mouth and other self admitted issues of hygiene deficiencies.
The treatment at this point consists of liberal applications of metronidazole (orally or gel), clindamycin cream applied to the affected area, and performing proper hygiene.
Some common causes other than hygiene and hypocrisy are birth control medications, unprotected sex (STD's) and improper training when young to prevent wiping from anus to vagina, some newly adapted male to female gender reassignments may experience this more so than females like Lady Gaga, who was born that way.

Under the previous administration? Doubtful.
I am not denying that there are women in this country who are not treated fairly (and I am just as upset by that as the next person), but I cannot help but fume at the hypocrisy, vulgarity, and self-promotion that was on display at this women's march.
Women have it SO GOOD in this country. Hey Madonna, go to Saudi Arabia or any number of Islamic and even non-Islamic countries around the world and then tell me that you have it bad in America.
If somebody I am blessed to have a daughter, I will make damn sure she understands her dignity as a human being and the fact that she lives in the greatest country on Earth. I will also do my best to shield her from these people who have shown absolutely no class or decency. Chelsea Handler came out this morning pretty much saying she despises the FLOTUS because she doesn't speak English well. (The news article slammed her for this saying the First Lady speaks five languages fluently...how many do you speak?)
I guess it's all about immigrants, free speech and women's rights until it isn't.
I hope she joins Judd, Madona, and other Hollywood types in the unemployable line on Hollywood Blvd and Vine St. Their bodies are still okay, it's just their minds have spoiled.

Hey, if I was asked to infiltrate the Women's March, I would have gladly accepted the challenge. I would just need some clothing from the second hand store in size 2X or 3X, some poly-fill, and a sign that read "You Can't Touch This" and in tiny letters at the bottom "or maybe you would not want too". Then I would fit right in no questions asked. :)
I have to say being a woman, I think a lot of these demonstrators were repugnant, misinformed, nasty, some vile, disrespectful and totally wrong. I am not saying that I disagree with women's rights, and equality ...yada, yada, yada....but do it with respect and dignity towards others. And why won't they fight for equality and woman's rights in the Middle East, or other countries that deny the rights to all females. It is so hypocritical.....I have never been a fan of entertainers who think they know more than anyone else, think they have the intellect of Einstein, and think that "normal" Americans really care.....OK, I am off my soapbox....enjoy your day....:):o

The whole premise that this was a "women's" march is hilarious, IMHO. If it was legitimate, why not have it the day after Donald Trump was annouced the victor over the Hilldabeast?
Nope, this was a joke IMO, and one that was badly played out for the adoring media to swoop in on and try to paint American Women as upset, angry, and unhappy. HA!
If memory serves, at all the Trump rallies throughout the campaign, women of all shapes, sizes, colors, and economic backgrounds showed up to cheer on their candidate, which is our duty and responsibility as American citizens, IMHO.

Holly, it takes time, money (someone else's) and commitment to be angry after defeat. Remember the media had already elected Hillary before the election. Once the "Rumsfeld Effect" (Shock and Awe) wore off and the tissue boxes replaced they needed time to order all those Chinese made "Pussy Hats" and get them delivered via Amazon.
Absolute rage takes time, a symbol of that cause takes more time.
Why not organize your worldwide protest to coincide with the inauguration of the most hated man (in some minority circles) on the same day? Oh, yeah, the media can't effectively do split-screen reporting without lowering their ratings. So let's postpone our movement until the day after...after all batteries need time to recharge.

Maybe the women and the men in this march and all these other "diversity" events think this is a Women's March. But this march was orchestrated yet seemed to have no clear goal or statement. Most of their signs were about protesting Trump.
All these events are about controlling the narrative and the minds of the people. It was a corporate facilitated/ supported event. Why are these events seemingly aimed specifically at the massed demographic of white women?
