View Full Version : Liberal Media Reversal??

As is my habit while I get ready for work in the mornings, I watch "Morning Joe" to keep tabs on the trends in liberal think and message. So this morning I heard Joe Scarborough proclaim that during the primaries they warned that Trump would likely win the nomination and that early in the campaign they said he was going to win the election! Huh??? I thought I misheard him.

This afternoon, I heard Mark Levin repeat Joe's proclamation, so I didn't mishear. Is MSNBC trying to say that they predicted the outcome all along?

Later in the show the guest who is the political reporter for the "Hollywood Reporter" (now there's an oxymoron fer ya ) was commenting that the left's hyper-response to the Trump victory and the over reaction to Steve Bannon is playing right into their strategy! Oddly, I had that exact conversation last week with another Brother. This guy gets it!

The MSM and the progressives have taken the bait. The Trump/Bannon strategy has been one of misdirection and it has been beautifully executed IMO. In fact this is a well known but not often used negotiating tactic - take an outrageous position and watch your oppositions reaction. Trump did exactly that in the primaries and the progressives went nuts and still are. He is sucking all of the media attention and it's misdirected - there is no There there guys!

The Clinton campaign took the bait hook line and sinker and lost big time. The NYT had to eat crow and it's reputation has been damaged. Same for the Washington Post and most of the MSM. Joe Scarborough is trying to save face and is hoping to promote a revisionist version of recent history.

These chuckleheads still don't get it and the Dems in their attempt to rebuild their party are actually doubling down on their failed identity politics gambit. Good luck with that!

I watched carefully the body language and the optics after the meeting with Mitt Romney on Saturday. Romney looked like a school boy that had just come from the Principal's office!

I for one, am very encouraged by what I am seeing. I said before that Donald Trump will turn over the apple cart of politics as usual and we are seeing exactly that.

Well played Mr. President-Elect, well played indeed. :lifter

I for one hope you are reading this right. I haven't had this much optimism for our government and nation in a LONG, LONG time, far longer than just the past 8 years.

Trump has an opportunity that few have...he is closer to our founding father's vision (not needing the job [i.e. wealthy] so its about the nation and not the paycheck and beholden to none) than anyone has been in probably over a century, and has a mandate from the silent majority that finally got pissed enough to get the fuck off the couch and vote for a change.

I hope he is true to his word, ignores the Left's inane antics and seizes the opportunity and runs with it. It could be brilliant!

Ignore? Hell, he baited them to do exactly that! They're institutions are looking like fools and becoming self marginalizing. The more they double down by increasing the antics like we have seen and are hearing, they will ultimately implode and become mere noise in the background.

I will venture to say these are SF style tactics executed with precision. ;)

Watching Rachel Maddow cry is what got me watching MSNBC. Do they broadcast more of it?

They (every Dim Libtard out there) wanted him to win the nomination...and actively gave him free media attention because they thought he would be the easiest to beat in the actual election. Now they're all begging him to move to the center. F 'em, I say. Let him govern they way he took office. By ignoring the "professionals."

I'm seeing bits and pieces of where the "elects" are going straight to social media and bypassing the MSM-libtards.

Welcome to irrelevance HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

I see all this criticism for young Mr Flynn and false news stories. Sure glad their not looking into Bloomberg, Huffington, Salon, People, Cosmopolitan, Vox, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, the Klinton campaign, DNC messaging and on and on and on. But hey that is the sorry broken strategy they and the left have been pushing for a while now, it still leaves me incredulous that they think anyone is buying what they are still trying to sell???
Just turn it off......and maybe a word or two to their sponsors and advertisers.

When contacting sponsors, I throw this line in there.

Transference - the act of not trusting a "new" organization and applying it towards it's sponsors.
