Well folks, today is another one of those days that defines the future of America.

It is time to nut up, or shut up.

You can take your Never Trump or Hillary position, or even vote for Johnson, and contribute to the demise of this once great nation.

Make no mistake, you can look for Hitlery to select a SCOTUS nominee who makes Ginsberg look conservative (maybe even Obama!) and immediately issue new Executive Orders that will effectively attack the Constitution and create a new assault weapons ban. The First and Second Amendments will be dead. If you thought Obama's ideas were crazy, wait till you get your new political officer on your team to look out for gender and LGBTXYZ issues. This seeming middle of the road bullshit is just for electioneering. She is a consummate liar and the socialist devil incarnate. The shit she has done with classified material would get any of us arrested and incarcerated. The pay for play aspect of her actions as SecState are only now being considered. Hitlery covered for Bill's sexual assaults on women for years. If you are happy with the pussification of America and a Klinton kleptocracy revisited, this is the candidate for you. Remember Bill, version 1.0? Or you can just avoid voting and have the same effect.

Or you can swallow your pride and vote for Trump, who will appoint SCOTUS Justices who are at least more conservative than Hitlery's appointees, who respect the Second Amendment, and who try to wrest the leadership of this country back from the establishment drones like McConnell and Ryan.

The POTUS is openly soliciting illegal immigrants to vote in this election.

Please get out to the polls tomorrow, if you have not voted yet, please invest a few minutes in the future of America. Vote against Hitlery. Vote like the future of this country depended on you. And if it is close, look for the hordes of Dim lawyers to descend on the states where they think they can steal the election from the legal voters' choice.

If you don't, you can shut your pie hole about politics for the next four years. I don't want to hear anything more from you about what happens. This will be the continuation of the ever accelerating progress toward the fall of what was once America. You may never have this opportunity again.

Your call.

I too hope for the best and am prepared for the worst. I do not think Hitlery's rock concerts get her any more votes they just get her the crowd that she can not attract on her own. The woman is beyond unlikeable and I believe that will be her downfall. The question is do you like her just enough to be bothered with voting for her or do you despise her so much that you will be voting against her?

Levin truth-bomb: ‘This isn’t an election; it’s a WAR’

“This is a battle between traditional values … and the other side that believes in concentrated centralized power,” Levin continued on his radio program, stating we must be saved from the continued breakdown of our values and principles.

1330 CST: Poll gal mentioned it's busiest she's seen it in 40 years for this time of day. Rush is usually lunchtime, and then after work's the big one.* A quick glance at the counters on the opti-scan machines yielded a tally thus far of ~2K out of a total population (not incl Holsteins & Llamas) of around 9K. And that's at 1330!

The folks coming out this time of day were mostly in the "more mature" category & I had some concern since they tend to vote "leave me my stuff" planks. However, no shit, as I'm walking back I heard one granny say to the other:
"Mark my words, if that vile witch gets in I'm going to join Henry."

Personally, am interested to see if Ron Johnson keeps his seat from the challenge by (We Already Fired You Once) Russ Fein(spending your)gold. Let's see if folks recognize a leech when they see one.

I wonder how may big mouth liberals will move leave the country like they said they woud? Hopefully all of them. In reality none will.

Just a reminder of who has declared their desire to move elsewhere......

Amy Schumer is moving to Spain now that Trump has been elected. I hope she learns how to speak the language.

Jon Stewart apparently has made a breakthrough discovery in cosmology since he has stated he will getting in a rocket and moving to another planet…
…maybe he can find a nice condo near Cher since she has stated she will be moving to Jupiter.

Chelsea Handler is also moving to Spa…….
….wait a second – who in the hell is Chelsea Handler?
…a comedienne you say? Well, THAT’S not funny.

Neve Campbell is moving to Vancouver because she is “terrified of Trumps honesty.”
…buh-bye Neve.

Lena Dunham, Keegan-Michael Key, Barbara Streisand, Raven Simone, NeYo, and Brian Cranston are ALL moving to Canada…
…take off ey’ - you hosers

Comedian Eddie Griffin is moving to Africa. I hear Libya and Somalia have some nice ocean front property.

Samuel Jackson is moving to South Africa. I guess he has had it “with these motherf#%kin' republicans in this motherf#%kin' plane!”

Darth Vader Ginsburg is moving to New Zealand; if she intends on keeping her job as one of the supremes, she is going to have one hell of a commute. Maybe she can litigate via snapchat.

In a shocking move, Spike Lee is also moving now that Trump has been elected. It seems that Spike told vanity fair, “If Trump wins, I'll be moving back to the republic of Brooklyn”

George Lopez has suggested he can solve the immigration crisis for Trump; "If he wins, he won't have to worry about immigration, we'll all go back."
That’s what I am talking about George – selfless service.

Then there is the venerable aLsharpt0n.
Yes, Reverend aLsHarpton is moving as well. Apparently, there just isn’t enough room in these great United States for a President Trump AND a Reverend aLSharpton. He is non-comital about where he may move to start his new congregation, only saying that “I'm reserving my ticket out of here if he wins,"
What will we do without the good Reverend to pray for our salvation?

Trump's pro-Second Amendment platform could end gun sales boom

Brooke Singman

By Brooke Singman

· FoxNews.com

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to push to relax gun laws when he takes office, but significant changes in the firearms industry began as soon as he was elected – and some put the law of unintended consequences squarely in the cross hairs.

For instance, while Trump’s unapologetic pro-Second Amendment stance may be good for gun owners, it has already dealt a blow to manufacturers, who enjoyed record sales throughout President Obama’s eight years in office. Stocks in companies like Smith & Wesson and Sturm, Ruger & Co. plunged on Nov. 9, and experts say it is because Trump’s election erased fears that guns would become harder to get.

“A lot of people were buying guns simply because they were worried Hillary Clinton’s regulations would make it more costly and more difficult to buy guns, and people are not going to feel quite the need to go out and buy guns now,” Crime Prevention Research Center President John Lott told FoxNews.com. “I think the stock market is a pretty good predictor of what’s going to happen, and the fact that you see drops in stock prices by almost 20 percentage points –I think that’s pretty significant.”

(Sometimes I wonder.........)

Yes Doc, as tonyz stated the "demand" will drop significantly when President Trump takes office.

While increase in demand will almost always lead to increase in price, decrease in demand does not always lead to drop in price.

I can see the price gouging on ammunition falling away - I'm just not so sure the price of firearms will be heavily impacted.

For the everyday pieces, it will drop. Ammo will also drop, unless, unless President Trump decides to make isis extinct...... ;)

Or there becomes a need for deplorable people to resupply in order to keep the progressive protestors from getting out of hand.

I have not shopped in Wally World in a while. However, the last time I was there I vividly recall seeing very little ammo. That wasn't the case earlier today. Had to drop by a buddy off to get his tires rotated. This is how the shelves looked today.

Looking forward to the day when Wally World and other stores has so much .22 LR that there are no restrictions on quantity purchased.

same with PSA. FGMM .308 175 gr for $19.99 with free shipping is a steal and the stock normally gone within hours. It's been days and it's not sold out yet

...sumthin aint right

In the deepest part of the ammo famine our Wally World restricted .22lr sales because a couple or guys would show up before dawn, during stocking time, and buy it all up and then sell it at the swap meet on the weekend. It's still not on the shelf, though. I don't know if you can request it from behind the counter. My wife has a supplier through her shooting club so we're fine.

My observation from the local gun show last Sunday was that ammo prices came up before the election maybe 15% and have dropped very little so far. The online dealers appear to be using Black Friday as an excuse to eliminate some of their overstockage of mags and ARs / components.

Not to say that specific calibers will not experience price cuts or increases independently. After all, ammunition is made from several different commodity items, and I suspect that lead, copper, brass, powder, and primers will continue to ebb and flow as supply and demand dictate.

Personally, I do not believe that I paid excessively for my ammo and I will continue to buy when prices are favorable.

I also consider the difference in pricing between loaded ammunition, and the cost (and time) to hand load. Generally, premium rounds are the most cost effective to reload. At some point, ball ammo is so inexpensive that I can barely buy the components for the cost of a loaded round. In those cases, unless I want to make something different, I buy the ammo rather than reloading it.

I have learned my lesson from this and previous events and will maintain a constant supply of ammo, if not add to it.

Hopefully, everyone has adequate stores to survive a couple of weeks without needing to run to the store. For the perishables you have acquired, remember to rotate stocks and keep track of expiration dates. Store your food properly to ensure a long life free from bugs and other vermin that would contaminate your food. Also be aware that expiration dates are based on a number of factors, some of which are under your control and some which are not. Delicate foods (especially those with fats or oils), and prescription meds benefit from cool dark storage, and most drugs are good well past their marked expiration dates. The few that do deteriorate rapidly can quickly be found with an internet search. Having said that, I am not a pharmacist and you choose to use meds of any kind at your own risk. Gasoline and many other petroleum products, has a very short service life, particularly gasoline with ethanol added. In most cases, rotation is recommended every few months, that can be extended a year or more with the addition of fuel preservatives to pure gasoline without ethanol. Or you could just rotate your storage into your vehicles every 60-90 days or so. Small engines and boat motors suffer greatly from people using old/bad gas. You leave it in the tank over the seasons at the peril of the life of your engine.

I hope this thread has been helpful to you.

For those who live in areas where violence has broken out, I am glad that the trouble has not been worse and I will hope for your continued safety.

Thank all of the members of this board who voted. This election was a very near run thing. A few thousand votes here or there and we could have been awaiting Phase II of the destruction of the United States. As it is, we will have to wait and see, but I feel much better about things than I would have had the hag won.

All the best.

+1 sir. We've seen these cycles before.

You leave it in the tank over the seasons at the peril of the life of your engine.A trusted small-engine/implement shop nearby has been educating their customers for some time on the false economy of not opening the wallet to the extra pennies involved in taking these steps, especially when people winterize their stuff or move from mowers to snow blowers. He's told me it's not where he makes his money anyway so he'd frankly not be presented with the proverbial "won't start" service tag when spring or the first snow comes. (As an aside, the biz is a father passed down to son being taught to grand-son operation, all solid folks; a fine & rare enough thing to see in the modern small-business climate.)

I would add thanks to those who espoused completely abstaining from the vote and/or advocating "burn it all down" but did it anyway & just don't want to admit around the town coffee shop that the action didn't equal their rhetoric. Perhaps bought a bit more time; you did alright, so go enjoy your coffee.

Just wanted to post a couple helpful links regarding ethanol-free gasoline. I've used this site for a while and with the rare exception, it is accurate.
