ADMINS ...

I have what can only be described as a couple of suspicious PMs in my inbox. (See the screen capture below)

I have not opened either one and probably will just delete them.

They look suspicious because 1) The member name looks unfamiliar to me and 2) For the life of me I can't see ANYONE on PS.com saying "Thank you from PS.com" ... oh sure, I still get the annual Birthday wish in my regular email, but I think that's just a hold over from days gone by and hasn't been purged from the system and 3) TWO PMs coming in from the same member a few hours apart.

I will delete them after this post has been addressed by the ADMIN team, if you'd like to get in and take a look at them.

I logged on earlier this morning and noticed he/she has been private messaging since then. No profile provided and no other posts.

I seriously doubt this is a real person.

I seriously doubt this is a real person.

:mad:Ultimately, it probably is a real person but software doing the work. This type of things happens occasionally on other fora I'm familiar with. Just the PM-version of spam, or robo-dialing.

(Now... if there were electronic counter-battery fire available wouldn't that be fun.)

Spammers, send it all to the "deaddrop at professionalsoldiers.com" and I will "kill" them. :)

I just spent an hour banning many Russian, Ukraine and Vietnam IP addresses. And deleted about 100 "users". ;)
