We don't need no stinking rules!

Check out this article from USA TODAY:

Michigan parent may have violated school policy with open-carry gun

Maybe Ms. Schafer (another parent and probably the sheeple that complained) isn't alarmed by other events and news around the country.

Parents: Dirty needles, condoms litter path near school playground

(Sent from KING 5)

And then not maybe but probably I could post up other recent accounts of violence and death at our public schools and educational institutions.

Did the gun toter break the law? No. Did he violate some arcane school district policy? Maybe, the jury is still out. Maybe there was a communication breakdown and the "citizen" exercising his constitutional right and lawful carry isn't afraid of anything or anyone but chose to be prepared in case any of those "other" people showed up to cause harm.

“Student safety is our first priority,” (Howell Public Schools Superintendent Erin) MacGregor said. “We have procedures in place to ensure student and staff safety if a weapon is brought on school grounds.”Cause nothing bad ever happens at a school.

I know Howell, for 2 things:
Home to this man, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Burgett) whose first book I read as a kid.

and lots of little artsy/fartsy shops & eateries.
