View Full Version : The FBI screwed the pooch ....

There are some FBI agents in West Palm Beach who should be looking for a new job out of law enforcement. The Bureau was notified about five weeks prior to the Orlando shooting that a suspicious individual had made inquiries about purchasing a bullet proof vest and ammunition in bulk. The store personnel felt that something was not right and contacted the FBI.

Although they didn't have a name because there had been no transaction, they did have video footage from security cameras. The Bureau did call back, but made no attempt to secure and/or view the footage.

With a more thorough investigation perhaps a tragedy could have been avoided. Having worked on a Federal Task Force doing similar work right after 9-11 I can tell you it doesn't take a rocket scientist to canvas the neighborhood after viewing the store footage and identify additional cameras. An astute investigator would then check those cameras for footage of the individual and hopefully tie him to a view that would yield a description and or license plate.

The other track that could have been followed would be to run the picture through the Bureau program that compares photos against picture data banks maintained by the Bureau and at least twelve of the states.

But no, the Bureau screwed the pooch and missed a golden opportunity to stop a terrorist act.

Just my $0.02.

You've got that right....in this day and age.
Lack of focus from the top down.

It's easier to catch terrorists when YOU (the FBI) invent the terrorist yourself.

Just sayin'

They've been doing that since the 1950s (or maybe earlier)

Come on, what are you thinking!!

No one within the FBI, none of their agents in West Palm Beach, should be looking for a new job out of law enforcement. They were doing their jobs!!

Don't talk about the "FBI Bureau was notified about five weeks prior to the Orlando shooting that a suspicious individual" doing this or THAT. Oh we are going to talk about "inquiries about purchasing a bullet proof vest and ammunition in bulk." Don't talk about Disney call the FBI and tell them also five weeks ago that this man and a woman have been to their parks on these dates and their insiders tell them this and that.

Not of this falls into the lefts agenda of gun control and controlling Americans.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!! :D

In fairness to the FBI, they have to operate under the AG's guidelines. Once it was identified that the guy was most likely muslim, they were probably told to stand down so as not to offend the peaceful Muslim's we keep hearing so much about.

You know....this administration's schtick about "never let a crisis go to waste" and all that blather.

Good thing the shooter wasn't an angry white person. That would have been really REALLY bad; would have gotten the libs panties all twisted into knots.

By the time the official narrative is spun he will be a WHITE muslim.

That had converted to Christianity, changed his name to Hank, and was wearing white robe, swinging the stars and bars, that was shooting his scary, fully auto, grenade shooter AR-17 style military machinegun WITH bayonet lug!
