Russia Is Reportedly Set To Release Clinton's Intercepted Emails

Jun 14, 2016 6:20 PM

Reliable intelligence sources in the West have indicated that warnings had been received that the Russian Government could in the near future release the text of email messages intercepted from U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server from the time she was U.S. Secretary of State. The release would, the messaging indicated, prove that Secretary Clinton had, in fact, laid open U.S. secrets to foreign interception by putting highly-classified Government reports onto a private server in violation of U.S. law, and that, as suspected, the server had been targeted and hacked by foreign intelligence services.

The reports indicated that the decision as to whether to reveal the intercepts would be made by Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, and it was possible that the release would, if made, be through a third party, such as Wikileaks. The apparent message from Moscow, through the intelligence community, seemed to indicate frustration with the pace of the official U.S. Department of Justice investigation into the so-called server scandal, which seemed to offer prima facie evidence that U.S. law had been violated by Mrs Clinton’s decision to use a private server through which to conduct official and often highly-secret communications during her time as Secretary of State.

U.S. sources indicated that the extensive Department of Justice probe was more focused on the possibility that the private server was used to protect messaging in which Secretary Clinton allegedly discussed quid pro quo transactions with private donors to the Clinton Foundation in exchange for influence on U.S. policy.

The Russian possession of the intercepts, however, was designed also to show that, apart from violating U.S. law in the fundamental handling of classified documents (which Sec. Clinton had alleged was no worse than the mishandling of a few documents by CIA Director David Petraeus or Clinton’s National Security Advisor Sandy Berger), the traffic included highly-classified materials which had their classification headers stripped. Russian (and other) sources had indicated frustration with the pace of the Justice Dept. probe, and its avoidance of the national security aspects of intelligence handling. This meant that the topic would be suppressed by the U.S. Barack Obama Administration so that it would not be a factor in the current U.S. Presidential election campaign, in which President Obama had endorsed Mrs Clinton.

But but but she hit the reset button, why would they do this to madame secretary?

ha...
...the Clintons have probably paid the russians to relsease very select e-mails to prove that madam secretary has done no wrong.

Mr Putin will simply show that he has an e-mail that shows Hillary chatting about one-a-day vitamins and Web Hubbells grandchildren.

Besides, what difference at this point does it make anyway.

Sorry, but I would not trust the text of an email released by Russia as far as I could throw Lenin's corpse.

The real problem is that Hillary has handed the enemies of America a weapon which can be used even if there was no interception of e mails. Just the possibility that the e mails can be used to influence the behaviour of a President should be grounds for her disqualification as a candidate.

Hillary doesn't care enough to be influenced by anything without dollar signs or increased power attached to it...the threat of another scandal...pffft, no problem.

Real or not real, release all emails or just selected ones. What would be russia's motive for torpedoing the hildabeast?.. other than the perception that Trump would be tougher / more logical in dealing with the global problem that has nothing do do with islam?

I think Putin and the Russians see the Muslims as a much bigger threat to Russia than the West. If that is case then they will look at the data on Trump and Hillary and see which one as President will be best for Russia.

Hillary Clinton, "Let’s be clear: Islam is not our adversary. Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism."
Twitter
Nasser al-Rashid, one of Saudi Arabia’s wealthiest figures and an adviser to the country’s royal family, has donated somewhere between $1 million to $5 million to the Clinton Foundation, putting him in an elite category of prominent donors.
Washington Free Beacon
Saudi Arabian, UAE, Oman governments donated million to the Clinton Foundation.
Wall Street Journal

Trump, “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on.”

Given that little bit of information I think I know who the Russians support. The Russians will always do what they think is best for themselves.

The question is, why would Putin release that data, too what advantage?
or, with such a release, what does that communicate about preference, malleability?

What is it they say..."follow the money..." Me thinks she and Bill got to greedy over other mineral rights she has been dealing under the table and they found a cheaper source to deal with. Not much love between the two and once O was reelected I'll bet those freed up hands didn't have the cooperation Vlad thought was coming to him. If the current policies for Crimea and the Ukraine are continued and the Syrian conflict doesn't get contained soon; Russia has a future energy problem.

My $.02 Vlad for all his expansionist stunts has been playing defense from day one. Yes he is an opportunistic Stasi thug, but he is enough of a realist to realize if the Russian Federation keeps losing population or other states break away, they will be in deep Kim Chee. As mentioned before the Russian economy is a one trick pony based on energy prices, and they also have Jihadist problems.

the Hildabeast would just be a continuation of Zero's impotence in all things. Trump on the other hand is running on two pillars, jobs and security. He is much more likely to go in hard after ISIL in Iraq and Libya, which could send oil prices back over 100.

So Vlad could hit for the cycle, He could have the emails released by some "hacker" not affiliated with his regime, significantly increase the odds of an oil price spike with Trump in office, and get NATO to destroy ISIL which reduces his Jihadi problem, and as a bonus embarrass the US in the process. From his perspective what's not to like?

I've discussed this with some folks and journalists. Putin is good friends with Mr. Trump and they are "both" staunch "capitalists".

And... Mr Putin hates Hitlery.

I see this as a win win win. Good relation with Russia, especially as China is starting to flex its military muscles. And, hopefully a way to get hitlery arrested, that lying bitch needs to be wearing a prison uniform with her ass licking staff.

I can see how on a personal l and professional evel Putin would prefer trump to hitlery.

it is definitely a win win win.

Russian hackers recently hacked unreleased opponent data from all political strategy servers of all campaign fronts. The data was successfully exfilled for months back to russia, according to news reports.

Now this....

We are witnessing a new form of cyber political warfare from foreign adversarys that enables election manipulation.

Bad for Hillary great, Good for Trump sure, but it makes the old US enabled coups seem like the work of neanderthals. (Which of course it was in many cases...)

.....Yeah I'm sure Russia is super upset about Hillary leaking intel. They must want DOJ to get right on that. NOW that it is done with and is of no current operational use. What a deal, get unlimited access to the DoS and get a freebie for political warefare. You bet Putin knows what he's doing.

Some sources of mine over there agree & regard her actually as dangerously hawkish in terms of US/Russia relations. Trump & Putin are much more likely to be able to "do business" together; economic, kinetic, whatever.

(with link to several docs & spreadsheets posted)

RT's story here (https://www.rt.com/usa/347005-dnc-hack-donors-collusion/).

A lone hacker by the name ‘Guccifer 2.0’ has claimed responsibility for hacking the Democratic National Committee database, revealing research on GOP and donor information. This contradicts the initial DNC reports that Russia was behind the attack.

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz acknowledged that the party servers were hacked and that opposition research was stolen, but denied that documents of a financial nature were compromised.

On his website, Guccifer 2.0 posted (https://guccifer2.wordpress.com/2016/06/15/dnc/) some of the documents allegedly lifted from DNC’s servers, such as a 200-page “opposition research” document on Donald Trump. The hacker also posted documents with names of famous individuals who have made donations to the Democratic Party in the millions of dollars, such as actor Morgan Freeman and hedge fund manager James H. Simmons.

That maybe Trump will bow to him after supporting the destruction of HRC.

This one right here. The "evil" Putin would much rather avoid another world war whilst Cruella will quite gleefully slide the western world right over the edge.
