This is quite amusing. I really hate mentally retarded liberals.

ACLU LEADER QUITS AFTER DAUGHTERS ENCOUNTER MEN IN THE WOMEN’S RESTROOM

POSTED ON JUNE 1, 2016 BY PAUL MIRENGOFF IN BATHROOM WARS, LEFTISM
Maya Dillard Smith, interim director of the Georgia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, has resigned over the ACLU’s position on who can use which public restrooms. The resignation occurred after her two daughters were traumatized by encountering men in the women’s restroom. Dillard Smith explained:

I have shared my personal experience of having taken my elementary school age daughters into a women’s restroom when shortly after three transgender young adults, over six feet [tall] with deep voices, entered. My children were visibly frightened, concerned about their safety and left asking lots of questions for which I, like many parents, was ill-prepared to answer.

Dillard Smith complained that the ACLU has become “a special interest organization that promotes not all, but certain progressive rights” and that the “hierarchy of rights” the ACLU chooses to defend or ignore is “based on who is funding the organization’s lobbying activities.” Further expressing her disillusionment, Dillard Smith stated:

I understood it to be the ACLU’s goal to delicately balance competing rights to ensure that any infringements are narrowly tailored, that they do not create a hierarchy of rights, and that we are mindful of unintended consequences. I believe there are solutions that can provide accommodations for transgender people and balance the need to ensure women and girls are safe from those who might have malicious intent.

Unfortunately, as she has learned, Dillard Smith’s view of the ACLU bears little relation to reality. The ACLU’s goal — like that of the LGBT movement — is to shove a radical agenda down the throats of the American people, not to balance rights and find reasonable accommodations.

Maybe she could teach Trump a thing or two about redacting a liberally progressive, made up social issue such as this one in order to once again draw a moral line in the sand in terms of humanity.

Good for her. She should be recruited and paraded around like a champion of common sense.

Not until something affects them personally like that incident did her.

A fair comment, but I still give kudos to anyone willing to re-evaluate their stance when confronted with the realities of their convictions.

It is indeed a rare thing to see someone willingly sacrifice power and status in order to stand up for common sense...especially when it first requires one to admit they were wrong.

Former colleague sent me an attachment of the LGBT Pride Observance to be conducted at the base club on the 23rd (knowing it would jerk my chain - he's gonna owe me breakfast for that). I sent him one of the many links to this story.

I'm having the laugh though. Many of these 1200-1300 things - often billed as "Lunch & Learn" - are attended by workers who will go to ANYthing solely for the excuse of ANYthing to get out of the office. Maybe this time not so much. BUT...

Senior leadership must be represented to show the Diversity/Awareness Flag-of-the-Month®. Knowing the CO, this is definitely going to be one of those where he's REALLY glad he has a Deputy. Mwhahahahahaha.

I sent my buddy a FRAGO to report back on attendance, as well as to see if my guess on the appearance of the EO MSG presenter lives down to my expectations.

I'll bet she wouldn't have made a U turn if it was your kids and not hers.

There are no kudos when you've been shoving that radical agenda down someone else's throat and then back-pedaled when the policies you champion for other people's kids come and set up shop next to your own loved ones.

Well said... Hopefully she goes uneasily to her grave knowing that her search for the approval of trannies has forever endangered her precious angels and their own daughters and grand daughters.
