Mr. Stark,
You are dead wrong when you said the boys from JSOC would come and get CPT America, that would never happen, ever. And those lads in the American Special Operations, 99.99% of them vote right of center and only in the name of Freedom, something clearly Ironman doesn't yet understand.

Clearly Captain America has problems...he has been in the U.S. Army for over 70 years and has been passed over for promotion a bunch of times. :D

TS,
I hope you're right, and you're clearly more connected to that part of the military than I am.
I fear that the rest of the military's leadership (especially given their aggressive capitulation to the Diversity Buggernaut) will do just what they're told in any situation, especially if "The JAG signed off on it" or "We have a waiver from the Attorney General".
But, more in the light-hearted vein of the subject:
Captain America promoted to major, moved to staff position (http://www.duffelblog.com/2016/05/captain-america-moved-to-staff-position/)
“He submitted very weak bullets for his last OER, such as ‘thwarted alien invasion’ and ‘destroyed evil robots,’” Fury said. “Come on, America, we need quantity. How many aliens did you thwart? How will this affect unit readiness? Did you update your training calendars?”
“He’ll figure that stuff out at battalion.”

Politics in cartoons.......
Now that you mention it, they were pretty quick to blame the military guy (Captain America) for all of the collateral damage. :)
...and the system was pretty comfortable turning on him; as were some of his friends once the system deemed him unworthy.

But what if Captain America was a hydra agent all along?

There's always some liberal douchebag that wants to tear down any remaining symbol of how great this country once was.

I'm guessing then you haven't watched SuperGirl; the TV series?
Feminists dreams do come true and Clark Kent is gay; it's not an act to be a weak passive human and then strip off your clothes to reveal tight red speedos and a cape that doesn't actually make you fly. :p

I've not watched "politically correct" TV in years. But I've seen enough in news articles that tells me is socialist controlled TV. The 1% of gays, lesbo's etc are now in 100% of all new TV shows and 110lb females are the best fighters on TV taking down 250lb male meatsacks in a new york second with two punches. And "reality shows" and all the frauds, liars and felons in these reality shows is quite amusing.
Yeah I'm done with socialist TV. Even the movies now are politically charged and gay/feminist as ever. I'll stick with re-runs of the "Rifleman".......
In today's world with progressives, moderates and conservatives, I'd say political correctness is a Synonym for most.
Political correctness is the new norm for our society. However, I do enjoy being considered "not normal" by those standards.
Independent, free-thinkers are becoming more rare these days, but I do count myself to be among them.

Sadly, as one of my senior NCO pointed out...patriotism doesn't pay the bill. How about the 0.01% who have come to depend on the healthcare, the steady pay check, the tax free benefit, etc. to support family, lifestyle, and so on regardless of the price to pay

Yeah it does, just need to know how to apply it. Lots of veteran run businesses out there, money for college, still many benefits.
And if the spouse is not working to assist in the support then it's a lifestyle choice.
