View Full Version : Christian Man Victimised by LGBT Activists, Loses Job
LTG Boykin fired from his teaching job due to concerns by LGBT activists.
College boots ex-Delta Force hero after complaint from LGBT activists
Jerry Boykin is the kind of man you’d want teaching your sons – a good and decent man, an honorable man – a Christian man.
For the past nine years the retired lieutenant general has taught leadership and ethics at Hampden-Sydney College, a highly regarded, all-male school based in Virginia. By many accounts – he is beloved and deeply respected by students.
But Gen. Boykin will not be returning to the classroom this fall. That’s because he tells me he's been fired.

Hampden-Sydney was founded in 1776. They take great pride in their motto: “Come here as boys so you may leave as men.”
So much for that.
We don't "think" anymore. We "feel". Used to, a person could reason out things and shape his life by them. Now it seems, if you don't feel someone else's perceived pain, you're wrong...no matter how rational, innocent, or unintended your comment is.
Gen Boykin, you deserve so much better than this.
Good for him for saying what needed to be said.
He can find employment elsewhere!

I'm surprised that Hampden-Sydney hasn't taken this to the logical conclusion and closed shop and apologized for centuries of sexual discrimination as an all-male school.

I remember not long ago this was about equal pay and benefits, how quickly it has turned into retribution and judgement of others who do not believe the same way. I can't help but think it must be about the 1200 lb elephant in the room....that is actually something else entirely.
Description of the Elephant-
Deviant behaviors, or deviant acts in society refer to behavior that violate social norms and expectations. Deviance can be something as small as dressing in gothic clothing, or something as serious as burning someone's house down.Aug 10, 2015
I was surprised to find it, I thought they did away with all this verbiage......Sociology 101 I believe......

It is codified into law in NYC.
You can be fined for not calling people ‘ze’ or ‘hir,’ if that’s the pronoun they demand that you use
The NYCHRL [New York City Human Rights Law] requires employers[, landlords, and all businesses and professionals] to use an [employee’s, tenant’s, customer’s, or client’s] preferred name, pronoun and title (e.g., Ms./Mrs.) regardless of the individual’s sex assigned at birth, anatomy, gender, medical history, appearance, or the sex indicated on the individual’s identification.
Most individuals and many transgender people use female or male pronouns and titles. Some transgender and gender non-conforming people prefer to use pronouns other than he/him/his or she/her/hers, such as they/them/theirs or ze/hir. [Footnote: Ze and hir are popular gender-free pronouns preferred by some transgender and/or gender non-conforming individuals.] …

Finally, now I can be called what I've always identified as:
Master of the Universe!
(But if that's already taken Shitte for Brains will also work.)
Master of the Universe!
...so the abbreviation would be 'Motu'
So instead of some patriarchal gender privileged designation like Mr Jones or Mrs Smith it would be a gender neutral, Motu Jones...
That sounds pretty fucking cool.
Motu Jones... please pick up the randomly colored courtesy phone.
Motu Jones... please pick up the randomly colored courtesly phone
"Waiter, could you bring me some ice water?"
"...yes Motu"
Very nicely done... Motu has my vote as the pronoun of choice

Rehired!
Dear Alumni, Parents and Friends of Hampden-Sydney,
By now, many of you have heard the news stories or have seen the social media postings about my decision not to re-hire LTG Jerry Boykin as the Wheat Professor of Leadership in the Wilson Center. The national attention that this brought upon the College is something that I never expected, nor is it something that I wanted.
Late yesterday afternoon, we announced via the College’s Facebook page that I reached out to Gen. Boykin earlier in the day and asked if he would consider returning to the College next year. He readily agreed and has accepted another year's contract to teach in the College's Military Leadership and National Security minor as the Wheat Professor. In our call, he expressed his love of the College and its students and that he is honored to teach for another year.
At the end of the 2016-2017 academic year, the College will continue with my plan to restore the Wheat Professorship to short-term appointments that will allow our students a wider opportunity to learn from leaders not just from the military, but also retired CEO’s and citizen leaders from many backgrounds including the government, non-profit organizations and others.
Hampden-Sydney College is a gem in American higher education, and none of us, especially me, want to see the College damaged by the events of the past few days. I know that all those alumni and other constituents who expressed their opinions did so out of a genuine affection and concern for the College. Hampden-Sydney needs you to be with us in our pursuit of Forming Good Men and Good Citizens and it is my sincere hope that you will remain fully engaged with the College and its students.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dennis G. Stevens

I worked for General Boykin for two years.
What you see is what you get.
He lives in accordance with his beliefs, and he speaks and acts like it.
I am not a regular church goer, but he never let it affect our relationship, professional or personal.
I have a lot of respect for him, and his faith.

Can we vote to have him re-enter service and show someone, anyone who is still in service what balls look like?

The GO/FOs today know what balls look like. They see them every day. The under side view, at tongue length.

Maybe someone with influence whispers in Trump's ear when it's time for new military leadership.
Off hand, I can't think of his name, but I read that someone with the Family Research Council has Trump's ear.
Boykin, Allen West, Mattis....

Having come across more and more people who had worked with and for the good general, the above has been a consistent reply.
His book gives an excellent insight into the life of the man who's not afraid to appear vulnerable when it comes to his faith, and how the press (and the administration) hung him out to dry. It also taught me to never, never, never, ever speak to the press. Hell, I don't do it with PAO either. Just partial report of what you say is enough to spin the entire interview. The only time you would give interview if there's an "influence" goal...but that's illegal CONUS :D
