Business brought me to Oklahoma City on the eve of the anniversary.
It was very quiet on this evening.
These sites (OKC, Flight 93, WTC) always strike me as different from visits to military sites and Arlington National. Terrible losses all, but we as military enter into the fray from a different level ....the innocents on these sites did not step forward knowing they may pay the ultimate price.
Interesting to see what is written in stone given the national attitude.
"The Spirit of this city and this nation will not be defeated; Our deeply rooted faith sustains us"
Sadly, once the dust settles, "Faith" becomes something the vocal minority would have us be ashamed of.
