View Full Version : Earning And Wearing The Green Beret
First off, thank you guys for believing in this country enough to fight for it. Hell, from what I understand, you guys believe in other countries enough to fight with and for them! Do not take this the wrong way but saying service has always sounded funny to me, as I think of a guy who works at Wal-Mart. I'd rather just buy a vet a drink or help him with something than to just say thank you for your service. I think that means more.
Anyways, I'm signing up as we speak to get an 18x contract and join the ranks of SF. My reasons are irrelevant. I want to know from YOU guys, why YOU decided to wear the green beret. What was it that drove you to keep going when the training just sucked! I also want to hear if you could talked to your younger self, what you would tell him while going threw selection as well as training even once you became a green beret. What would you do differently? What would you NOT change? Would you do it all over again? What do you do everyday, as of now, to continue to grow from being in SF units?

FTFSI,
Signing up for an 18X contract is a hell of a lot different from "joining the ranks of SF". After your previous posts you have been advised to read more and post less, but here you are again re-heating threads that already exist.
Son, no response that we give you will mean anything. There are no answers to the test. YOU either prove YOURSELF or you don't. Guess what, the odds are completely AGAINST you, so you have absolutely no room to strut in here and brag on how you would "prefer buying a vet a drink". Did you actually compare our "service" to that of some one from Walmart???!!! Go Fuck Yourself.
You continue to demonstrate the inability to understand basic concept, situational awareness, and common sense. Possibly there is a reason why you were not accepted into SEAL training, and you gallantly act as if our selection process will be easier?
Read more, post less, focus on YOUR 5 meter target, and stop thinking so highly of yourself.
I'd prefer you stopped posting until AFTER you actually passed selection. Seriously doubt you have the discipline though.

You are a troll. You may have couched your questions in slightly different terms than your first post, but they remain essentially the same. You have not learned. We see through you ... i.e. there is something as irrelevant as your reasons for seeking an 18x contract ....
As for joining the ranks of SF ... you're in the wrong thread ... the Comedy Zone is to the left.
Just my $ .02.
.
akidd I predict that you will fail, and rather quickly.
Ah man here we go again... :boohoo
You guys wouldn't be happy with a beer and a jacuzzi full of women..

Well you're plenty stupid I'll give you that
Reading the few times you have posted I suggest getting a psychological evaluation, go to the regular Army so a mean hard NCO can teach you courtesy, grow up and mature. So far the only thing I can tell from your posts is you have resiliency which in your case as an ignorant kid.
Will do buddy!! Thanx for the advice! :D:D

How much would you like to bet, that here on PS.com,that it won't be the only time he gets his rucksack tossed in the hallway?
---------------------------------
No one here is your "buddy", and no one here wants a drink from you. What we have been asking you is to STFU and realize you are a "guest" (non-QP) in our "house" (PS.com). Perhaps you grew up without a father to explain to you how rude it is to talk back to people in their own house. I'll put it this way, I tossed my own mother out of my house for disrespecting my wife. What makes you better than the woman that gave me birth?
🖕🏻
I don't think his rucksack will even make it into the door, so it will remain in the front lawn, down the street not even in an 82d platoon.
You freedom typers love to talk more trash than a 12 year old on Xbox live...
Note to people who can't see through to the consequences resulting from impetuous actions - editing the original post doesn't change the subsequent quotes. P

You shit stains sure love talk more trash than a 12 year old on Xbox live..
Good luck with the rest of your life. Goodby.
I sincerely hope you get your 18X contract approved. I am sure there will be a few NCOs at selection who will be more than willing to talk to you face to face!
After you fail selection, recommend you keep your mouth shut for the remaining years of your enlistment. My prediction is a rather long assignment to Fort Leavenworth.
