Is anyone else getting logged out of this site every time you try to use the search, or make/edit/preview/submit a new post?

Yes sir, the same thing has been happening to me. It has only happened the last two days though.

If it's over 10 minutes you're auto logged out.

It's not the auto-logout. I've been trying to search for an old thread, and I got kicked immediately after submitting my search terms on multiple attempts. I also got kicked immediately after making submitting the first post in this thread.

I wanted to edit my post (above), but after 5 consecutive login attempts (with no notification about a bad username/password combination) I had to post here.

I just wanted to add that I got kicked again as soon as I clicked on the link to return to the forum's main page.

Us a different browser.

I use firefox without problems,, YMMV :munchin

If you have some sort of external PC software fixer or antivirusware, like MyCleanPC, it mat be "helping" by blocking "bad" sites..

You're still the only one with this issue. The problem is not at this end.

I had been using an office computer. It's easier to clean up after myself if the cookies and history are never stored (Chrome, incognito mode... and that normally doesn't log me out, as long as I have at least one incognito-mode browser open). Fortunately, I don't need to take the same precautions at home-- I can't hide anything from my wife, so I don't bother. Also, she likes reading what Richard says about everything.

Try CCleaner Free by Piriform, free-b.

By default it's good but you can tweak it to be selective in what it cleans.

Another nice feature is the advance options for wiping the clear space and secure deletions. It has the ability to do complex over writes up to 35 times. Not sure why?? maybe porn??
