This would introduce a modern Army to the Battlefield, and is an attempt for a Turkish Sunni occupation of Syrian Kurdistan. This would become a protective area for Erdogan to shelter and support foreign ISIS terrorists to destabilize the entire area. The Syrian debacle would escalate and Assad (and his state sponsors (Iran / Russia) ) would be forced to fight ISIS, 10,000 Turks, and perhaps Iraq.

Turkey ready to dispatch 10, 700 soldiers to Syria
(AGI) Ankara, Nov 11 - The Turkish government is preparing to send 10,700 soldiers to Syria in mid-December to fight ISIS and create safe areas for displaced people in the north of the country, reported pro-government daily Yeni Safak. The newspaper said that Ankara will present a document analysing the situation in Syria and will include a request for funds to the great powers at the G20 summit in Antalya over the weekend.
Ankara's aim would be to reverse the course of the military campaign against the jihadists and the migrant crisis. The plan provides for the entry of troops up to 46 km inside Syrian territory from seven Turkish regions. The safe areas would shelter up to 5 million refugees, thus offering a solution to the migrant problem. The plan also envisages the construction of six refugee camps, 11 logistics bases and 17 "security zones". The newspaper report follows a number of statements from Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who have already spoken openly of ground intervention in Syria. An indirect confirmation of the news came from the Turkish president who stressed that his party's triumph in the elections of Nov. 1 gives Turkey the chance to take big initiatives to deal with the crisis in the region.
According to Erdogan, after the election result, "there is no more political uncertainty in the country". Erdogan also, in apparent reference to the Russian intervention in Syria, launched a "friendly warning", saying that whoever throws petrol on the conflict will end up burning in the same fire..
