Ha, ha. I did much the same a couple of days ago. I found a box that a wallet came in. When I opened it, it had my shot record, military operators license (vehicle and generators), and my code of conduct card.

Good find, Jim!

2)two young ladies that worked at the O club

When my dad died several years ago my stepmom was upset to find a picture of a young Korean woman still in his wallet. My thought was a) he wasn't even married to my mother at the time he was in Korea and b) maybe this woman made some of his time in Korea just a little bit...easier. Not the word I'm looking for but I'm guessing some of you may know what I mean. ;)

I was going thru old pics of my dad in Vietnam a few weeks ago and came across one of him with a group of other guys sitting around some room or auditorium.

On the back it said, "Stripe Show". I at first thought, "What, the Stars and Stripes have some sort of USO show going on."

Then it clicked. Dad's spelling was a bit off.

In reality,, both spellings are correct.. :munchin
