“I hold it as a principle that the duration of peace is in direct proportion to the slaughter you inflict on the enemy.” –Gen. Mikhail Skobelev, Source (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/09/skobelevs-principle)

If we want a lasting peace, then we should apply Skobelev's principle to Islamic fundamentalism. Instead, we turn a blind eye to pederasty, the slaughter and genocide of Christians, sex slavery, abuse of women, and the wanton death and destruction wrought by the followers of Islam.

For what? We are afraid to offend them, since that might make them hate us? Well, they hate us quite simply, because they hate (http://www.amazon.com/Because-They-Hate-Survivor-Islamic/dp/0312358385/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8) . Nothing we do will change that.

So what do we do? Slay Muslims wherever we find them, just like Islam directs its followers to kill the unbelievers, Christians and Jews?

Quran:

9:5. Then when the Sacred Months (the 1st, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islamic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikun {unbelievers} wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat {the Islamic ritual prayers}), and give Zakat {alms}, then leave their way free. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

9:29. Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

9:33. It is He {Allah} Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it).

No. We steadfastly apply the following simple concept, a two-part strategy.

First, we aggressively engage Islam in the war of ideas until Islam reforms or ceases to be a great power among men (Winston Churchill (http://www.islam-watch.org/AdrianMorgan/Winston-Churchill-Islamism.htm)). Those that should be leading this war of ideas includes our clergy, elected leaders, military leaders and mainstream media. Until we counter the propaganda and outright lies promulgated by the likes of CAIR and other Islamic subversives and apologists, they will continue to dominate in this arena. {Note, I said the concept is simple, not the implementation. Given the current degraded state of our clergy, elected leaders, military leaders and mainstream media, this is not going to happen anytime soon. Given that Muslims consider the Quran the inviolable word of Allah, an Islamic reformation is not likely going to happen.}

Second, we apply Skobelev's principle to any and all Islamic organizations that are actively engaged in hostilities against the United States, our national interests and our allies. That includes organizations that are engaged in propaganda, subversion and financing Islamic fundamentalists. We have the capacity to do this now, though our elected leaders lack the will and fortitude.

If our nation fails to honestly admit the threat we face from fundamentalist Islam and effectively counter the threat, it will continue to metastasize. And then, when the pain becomes unbearable, that elusive 'backlash' against Muslims we are constantly warned of will happen. Seeds of it are already growing in Europe.

From the source for the opening quote....

The Russians have always been known to upstage the West in regards to dealing with enemies. There is the story of two KGB agents kidnapped by a gang of quite imprudent Islamic Liberation Organization (ILO) operatives in Beirut. The story goes that the ILO kidnappers, after hiding the hostages away, then sent a message to the Russian embassy in Beirut demanding the release of certain ILO members (if I remember correctly) at that time incarcerated by the Lebanese government of the day. Unbeknownst to the impulsive terrorists was the fact that the KGB was aware not only of where the two Russian citizens were being held captive, but also of the identities of the kidnappers. As a response to their demands the Russians sent to the safe house a box with the head of the leader of that particular ILO unit inside and the warning that if the two KGB agents were not released in a matter of hours, the next box they received would contain the heads of the kidnapper’s mothers.

LONDON — A Soviet KGB unit abducted 12 Lebanese extremists and killed one of them when gunmen executed one of four Russian hostages in Beirut in October, the Daily Mail said Thursday.

The newspaper, quoting intelligence sources from an unidentified country, said the KGB team sent the body back to the group`s leader with a message saying, ``Release our three hostages or we will shoot yours one by one.``

The brother of one of the Lebanese kidnappers was among the 12 extremists abducted by the KGB, the Mail said.

It said the quick release of the Soviet hostages ``amazed`` the U.S., British and French governments, all of which have citizens held captive in Lebanon.

Oddly enough just the other day I watched a documentary Youtube which I cannot for the life of me locate now, on the rescue the Soviet spies where several of the agents were interviewed years later. One thing they also stressed is that they would annihilate every single Hezbollah base and training camp in the Bekaa Valley, the locations of which they were obviously intimately familiar with.

Islamic fundamentalist interpretation of the war of ideas.

Extremists in Bangladesh publish global hit list of bloggers and writers (http://edition.cnn.com/2015/09/24/asia/bangladesh-bloggers-islamist-hit-list/index.html)

Islamic extremists in Bangladesh appear to be taking their war on secular writers and bloggers beyond the South Asian country's borders.

A hit list purporting to be from the militant group Ansarullah Bangla Team has been sent out threatening people in Europe and North America.

"Let Bangladesh revoke the citizenship of these enemies of Islam," a statement accompanying the list says. "If not, we will hunt them down in whatever part of God's world we find them and kill them right there."

The list contains nine people in the United Kingdom, eight in Germany, two in the United States, one in Canada and one in Sweden. CNN isn't reporting any of the names on the list.

Apparently, the Dutch were successful in countering a Jihad rebellion in Aceh, Indonesia by applying the second part of the proposed strategy. Instead of targeting and killing the Jihadis, they killed the radical Mullahs/Imams and buried them with pig carcasses. We should implement this strategy yesterday.

Exceptional Measures Against Jihad
The real way to defeat the Jihadis.

...My friend Mark Durie, an Anglican pastor from Australia who has written several books about Islamic doctrine, teaches us an instructive lesson from the Dutch war against radical Islam in Indonesia at the turn of the 20th century.

The Dutch East Indies Company and its commanders were losing the war in Aceh to a Muslim uprising, which they treated as an insurgency, not a religious or ideological movement. Eventually they hired a consultant named Christiaan Snouck Hurgronje, a Dutch expert on Islamic doctrine, who told them they were fighting against a jihad.

“Hugronje counseled them to change tactics,” Durie told me. “Instead of going after the insurgents and the villages they controlled, he said they needed to chase the mullahs out into the jungle and kill them, so they could empower the traditional leadership and the local clans. And it worked.”

One of the reasons cited for the Dutch success in putting down the rebellion was that they buried the rebel imams with the carcasses of pigs and made it known. That meant that instead of dying as martyrs for jihad, they died with the certainty they were unclean and were going to Hell. It was a message was not lost on the young men the imams had been so successful in recruiting up until then.

Remember President Obama explaining to an uncomprehending public that the U.S. military had given Osama Bin Laden a burial at sea to preserve his “dignity” and so not to offend Muslims? What dignity is due a wanton murderer of innocents?

Imagine if we had buried Osama Bin Laden with a pig carcass and broadcast the video? Or if each time we blast an al Qaeda or ISIS leader with a drone we send in special operations troops to gather up his remains to give them an appropriate burial and post the video on YouTube?

We will not win the war against the barbarians by playing nice. You want exceptional measures? Defeat the jihadis by robbing them of their ultimate victory: their dream of paradise.

Since the US Government is led by a Marxist/Muslim and is loathe to kill our enemies, perhaps the Dutch would be so kind as to resurrect the strategy they used in Indonesia. They could start with Tarik Chadlioui:

Muslim cleric in Belgium incited Paris jihad murderer to kill unbelievers

A Muslim hate preacher suspected of radicalising one of the Bataclan theatre gunmen urged his followers to wage jihad against ‘infidels’ and promised ‘martyrs’ would go to paradise.

Tarik Chadlioui preached hate-filled sermons at a Paris mosque attended by terrorist Omar Mostefai, who blew himself up after the bloody Batacalan theatre siege which claimed 89 lives.

SF-TX - Not that my opinion matters, but I agree with you on steps 1 & 2, but I have to wonder if there is a need for a step 3. Just two days ago, in Aceh, the Muslim majority closed and burned down churches. Sourcehttp://www.christianexaminer.com/article/indonesian.churches.closed.burned.demolished.by.mu slim.extremists/49803.htm So my question is, "Should there be a step 3? A third step that ensures a lasting resolution to the scourge that is Islam?" It would seem that the new generations of Muslims have little capability of recalling the the killing of the radical Mullahs/Imams by the Dutch.

...or deradicalize those leader figures and have them counter the violent jihad ideology i.e. Sayyid Imam in Egypt, Nasir Abbas/Ali Imron In Indonesia, and so on

Even al-Zawahiri (AQ current leader) and al-Libi (AQ ideology spokesman) could not counter Sayyid's ideologically, but could only attack his credibility:

https://www.ctc.usma.edu/posts/leading-egyptian-jihadist-sayyid-imam-renounces-violence

"Sayyid Imam `Abd al-`Aziz Imam al-Sharif, the former mufti of Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ) and mentor to Ayman al-Zawahiri, released his much anticipated book, Tarshid al-Jihad fi Misr wa al-Aalam (Rationalizations on Jihad in Egypt and the World). Published in serialized format by the Egyptian daily al-Masry al-Youm, the book is already being hailed within official Egyptian circles as the definitive renunciation of violence by one of the most influential jihadist thinkers alive today."

"The jihadist use of violence in trying to overthrow Islamic governments is both counter-productive and religiously unlawful, Sayyid Imam now argues. Da`wa, or the practice of publicly calling others to Islam, is a much safer, effective and religiously justifiable way to channel one’s grievances against a regime. Sayyid Imam prompts Muslims to try non-violent attempts to reform (al-islah) laws that are not in accordance with Shari`a. He advises that Muslims flee state persecution (al-hijra) when necessary instead of fighting, or isolate (al-`uzla) themselves from corruption that cannot be escaped. Muslims should pardon (al-`afw) the harmful actions of others, forgive (al-safh) one’s enemies, shun (al-i’rad) those who advocate un-Islamic behavior and maintain patience (al-aabr) in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges"

Here is a good essay on the root cause of why Islamic terrorism is happening in the West. BLUF, because we allow it to happen.

...So, what is the root cause of jihadi attacks? Many think that the ultimate source of the ongoing terrorization of the West is Islam. Yet this notion has one problem: the Muslim world is immensely weak and intrinsically incapable of being a threat. That every Islamic assault on the West is a terrorist attack—and terrorism, as is known, is the weapon of the weak—speaks for itself.

...No, today, the ultimate enemy is within. The root cause behind the nonstop Muslim terrorization of the West is found in those who stifle or whitewash all talk and examination of Muslim doctrine and history; who welcome hundreds of thousands of Muslim migrants, while knowing that some are jihadi operatives, and many are simply “radical”; who work to overthrow secular Arab dictators in the name of “democracy” and “freedom,” only to uncork the jihad suppressed by the autocrats (the Islamic State’s territory consists of lands that were “liberated” in Iraq, Libya, and Syria by the U.S. and its allies.)

...For to accept that Islam is inherently violent and intolerant is to reject a number of cornerstones of postmodern Western thinking that far transcend the question of Islam. In this context, nothing short of an intellectual/cultural revolution—where rational thinking becomes mainstream—will allow the West to confront Islam head on.

But there is some good news. With every Islamic attack, the eyes of more and more Western people are opened to the true nature of Muhammad's religion. That this is happening despite generations of pro-Islamic indoctrination in the West is a testimony to the growing brazenness of the jihad.

Yet, it still remains unclear whether objective thinking will eventually overthrow the current narrative of relativism, anti-Westernism, and asinine emotionalism.

Simply put, celebrating multiculturalism and defeating the jihad is impossible.

However, if such a revolution ever does take place, the Islamic jihad will be easily swept back into the dustbin of history. For the fact remains: Islam is terrorizing the world, not because it can, but because the West allows it to.

Apologists and deniers enable needless death and destruction to grow, expand and perpetuate.

The Islamic terrorists abuse children with their radical indoctrination schools and teaching of hatered...that is nothing less than child abuse - creating the next wave/generation of terrorists.

I'm of the belief that conditions are coalescing to see the formation and rise of a hard right response.

The lack of a legal, reasonable, and sanctioned response to a massive and largely non kinetic unconventional war campaign(mass economic refugee "terra-forming" to fundamentally and permanently change Europe's dominant cultures) could see the rise of an illegal, unreasonable, and unsanctioned response.

While I'm no subject matter expert, I could easily imagine slices of Central/South American political death squads, Brazilian off duty police acting as "pest control", and Gladio like underground activity mashed up in different ways based on localised conditions and circumstances as an unofficial, unsanctioned and illegal response from those on the far right with the will and the resources to execute unreasonable kinetic policy tomorrow because of governments' inability to execute reasonable non kinetic policy today.

And that will likely just be more fodder for the social/media war waging to shape perceptions.

So I reckon the very long view and largely non kinetic Muslim Brotherhood global network focused on the strategic may soon be opposed by more localised, more kinetic, and less globally aligned illicit hard right opposition focused on the tactical and the operational.

And I think the hard right will fail initially because of an excessive bias towards the kinetic and cultural bias that undervalues the strategic end state.

My hope would be for a rise of centre-right government and policy that takes a hard stand on protecting dominant culture, strongly opposes cultural terra forming, and aggressively prevents the formation of non permissive geographic footprints in their own country and forces assimilation.

I don't rate the chances of that happening much.

I suspect the west lacks the patience, perseverance, will, cohesion, and leadership to right the course without a strong "over correction" and all the terrible consequences that will entail.

Muslim women chide the useful idiots of the progressive left and ask them to not wear a hijab in 'solidarity' with Muslim women, but instead stand with them in the fight against Islamism. A good read.

...This modern-day movement spreads an ideology of political Islam, called “Islamism,” enlisting well-intentioned interfaith do-gooders and the media into promoting the idea that “hijab” is a virtual “sixth pillar” of Islam, after the traditional “five pillars” of the shahada (or proclamation of faith), prayer, fasting, charity and pilgrimage.

We reject this interpretation that the “hijab” is merely a symbol of modesty and dignity adopted by faithful female followers of Islam.

...In the name of “interfaith,” these well-intentioned Americans are getting duped by the agenda of Muslims who argue that a woman’s honor lies in her “chastity” and unwittingly pushing a platform to put a hijab on every woman.

Please do this instead: Do not wear a headscarf in “solidarity” with the ideology that most silences us, equating our bodies with “honor.” Stand with us instead with moral courage against the ideology of Islamism that demands we cover our hair.

What is 'hateful rhetoric?' Anything that might upset the fragile ego of an Islamic fundamentalist, such as a cartoon of Mohammed.

It's a bloody hard one.

But like how the education system seems to have been infiltrated/dominated by, and lost to, the left and hard left, means the right has been consistently losing due to the fact that averaging left of centre with continued leftward momentum clearly goes in the loss column.

Doesn't the same apply to non-kinetic social movements?

Outside of the decentralised and somewhat hijacked Tea Party movement, social movements thus far have been largely, and arguably almost exclusively, left to far left of centre.

Examples would include 60's-70's-80's protest movements in the US and Western Europe funded and supported by communists to undermine the west, conducting non-kinetic UW.

To me, the perceived significant lack of right of centre public social movement presence is not a lack of existence of right of centre gravity, but both what I perceive to be a lack of historical and embedded experience in social movements as well as higher pain thresholds to commit combined with traditionally lower local(physical not digital) mass density like the urban left.

To me, both sanctioned and unsanctioned Latin American death squads activity in the 70's-80's targeting communist movements could rear its head again.

Targeted killings are already happening in obvious places like Chechnya, and just now in Turkey. How long until unsanctioned Targeted killings occurs in the west?

I suspect that if western governments continue to fail in their response to the long term non kinetic UW campaign being waged against them, that some right of centre elements may respond erratically and kinetically with targeted killings.

Unless or until there is an effective strategic counter subversion campaign in our own western backyards, what else can we expect to see happenings in the meantime?

As the right may be aligned on many issues, they don't seem particularly cohesive or well led. Which would likely lead to inconsistent and uncoordinated response wouldn't? Including outliers?

Is that part of our fundamental problem?

Isn't that our critical vulnerability?

Aren't we fighting each other using stopwatches, while the enemy is fighting us unopposed with a 100 year calendar?

-----

I've learned all about "time and space" in the appreciation process along with key terrain and vital ground.

Do most in the west even conceptualise time beyond tactical and operational planning?

I'd posit we need to immediately start thinking beyond strategic timeframes, which we rarely do, drop our hubris and arrogance, and leapfrog into an existential timeframe consideration.

I know it runs contrary to "political time" election/news cycles, but I wonder if a new Defensive rather than Offensive Monroe Doctrine is required to try and surmount election/news cycles and mitigate our stopwatch mindset in a calendar war.

It could be that the time for a 'legal' response as you put it has come and gone in large part because the 3 branches of governent, the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches work in unison rather than provide checks and balances as intended.

What exactly is legal? I mean HRC can get away with dereliction of duty, lying under oath and murder The Honorable Jon Corzine can get away with Grand Theft. Obama and his finacier George Schwartz can get away with sedition.

Legal is much to do with how much money you have and how your legal team can twist words and meanings.

The system is a train wreck, and it will likely require some people with characteristics like Mel Gibson's Tomahawk wielding Benjamin Martin to get back on course.

Good and interesting thread.

Along with hunting down the terrorists like the animals they are, we need to sponsor schools and indoctrinate the children into our ways.

Am I saying brainwash the little bastards? Yes I am. That is the only long term solution. We can not kill our way to success in this world war. While hunting them down like animals has positive short term effects it is NOT a long term solution and if not done correctly is actually counter productive in the long run.

The Jesuits used to have a saying that went something like this: Give me a kid until they are seven and I will give you a Catholic for life.

I hate to say it but I dont believe our politicians have the vision or the balls to do what needs to be done. That statement goes for both parties.

I wonder if US leadership lost its way with the end of the Cold War and the counter subversion efforts against communism(as well as th efforts to undermine communism)?

USIA was closed and responsibilities fell under State with the BBG.

The BBG seems to be a 1999 pre social media and pre(known/understood) global UW war patchwork organisation that seems ill prepared, organized, or led to run aggressive defensive and offensive information operations in this global UW war.

I wonder if it needs to be reorg'd and put in a non kinetic war footing?

I also wonder if the future isn't in sponsoring schools, but in sponsoring online education.

Our kids use Khan Academy every day, during school and holidays, with instant global access.

Maybe distribute preloaded and education content locked tough tablets in local language filled with the truth and the means to communicate one to many and one to one with each kid.

My old company Amazon sells cheaper tablets if you accept lock screens with advertising content on them. It works.

Saudi Arabia Executes 47 Including Prominent Shiite Cleric

Nimr al-Nimr, a dissident Shiite cleric from the oil-rich Eastern Province, was among those executed. Known for sermons which criticized Sunni rulers in Saudi Arabia, as well as Shiite Iran for supporting the Syrian regime’s crackdown on its opponents, al-Nimr was arrested in 2012 and sentenced to death in 2014.

And the backlash has begun in Europe. It may be a group of "hooligans, bouncers and rockers" today, but tomorrow, who knows. It depends on whether or not western governments continue to allow in hordes of 'barbarians' with an ingrained hatred of the west.

Vigilantes hunting for 'justice' for New Year sex attacks carry out beatings on random foreigners in Cologne – as officials admit the assaults WERE carried out by migrants.

Vigilante mobs have been attacking Pakistani and Syrians in Cologne, leaving at least two in hospital, following calls on social media for 'revenge' in the wake of the New Years Eve assaults.

The attacks were carried out by groups of young men, allegedly specifically targeting foreigners, after reports Cologne police are focusing their investigation on asylum seekers and migrants.

More than 500 criminal complains have now been filed over the events outside Cologne's famous cathedral on New Years Eve, where young women were sexually assaulted, raped and robbed...

...According to the Cologne Express newspaper, a group of 'hooligans, rockers and bouncers' linked up on Facebook for payback for the mass sexual frenzy on the last day of the year that was allegedly carried out largely by foreigners and refugees.

The Express said the Facebook vigilante groups had promised an 'orderly clean up' of the old town centre in their 'manhunt.'

...Today, the minister for North Rhine-Westphalia, the German state where Cologne is located, admitted that people of foreign descent were responsible for virtually all of the violence on New Year's Eve in the city.

'Based on testimony from witnesses, the report from the Cologne police and descriptions by the federal police, it looks as if people with a migration background were almost exclusively responsible for the criminal acts,' Ralf Jaeger, interior minister from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia told a special commission on the Cologne violence.

'All signs point to these being north Africans and people from the Arab world,' he added. 'Based on what we know now from the investigation, asylum seekers who arrived in the past year are among the suspects.'

A German police officer is claiming they are being ordered not to detain criminal immigrants and to falsify crime reports. This is not going to end well. As officer 'Bernd' suggests, there is going to be a big bang.

A growing body of evidence suggests German police are hobbled at every possibly opportunity by the Federal government from dealing with the criminal migrant problem, with one officer complaining they have even been banned from preventing suspects escaping custody.

In a brief interview with German mainstream-tabloid Bild, an anonymised member of the state-wide Federal police identified only as 22 year old ‘Bernd’ reveals the extraordinary nature of police work in modern Europe. Deployed to Passau, a small city in south-east Germany on the Austrian border where thousands of migrants come by train and road every month Bernd revealed “95 percent of refugees are single men”.

The officer told the paper the public do not get an accurate idea of what is really happening in the migrant crime wave, because events are mis-reported by police to prevent outrage. He said: “should an asylum seeker cut another’s throat. In the report we would state it was grievous bodily harm rather than attempted murder. It looks better in the statistics”.

Bernd said in the past months, he had only once had cause to book a German citizen. The rest of his arrests and complaints were against migrants, who he said regularly “sexually harassed” women around the local railway station, the first stop in Germany after the railway crosses from Austria.

Most remarkable in the report of Bernd of conditions on the frontier were the crippling orders he was under duty to follow, even if they made his job near impossible: “If a refugee wants to escape our control, we can’t even detain him. This is dictated from above. To do so would be physical violence”.

Not to be outdone by the Germans, the Swedes have for years been covering up sexual assaults committed by Muslim immigrants.

Politics before justice. Should be the motto of the US Department of Justice under President Obama.

Since Swedish police were accused yesterday of covering up years of sex attacks by recent immigrants at a music festival, one Afghan teenager has already been arrested and Sweden’s liberal, pro mass migration prime minister has slammed the “double betrayal” of women by police.

It has also emerged that Stockholm Council and the festival organisers identified the sex mob phenomenon two years ago, but claimed it would have been “irresponsible” to have spoken out.

Furthermore, the Swedish paper which broke the story yesterday is alleged to have been tipped off six months ago, and may never have published the information were it not for the Cologne sex attack cover-up scandal.

Quoting sources within the force, Dagens Nyheter (DN) claimed Stockholm Police consciously avoid reporting on issues which can be tied to perpetrators of a foreign background, because they fear it may help right-wing politicians.

On the other side, Dalia Mogahed (http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=2428)(discussed at length on this site) claims the hijab represents the "privatization of women’s sexuality." I agree with Asra Q. Nomani and Hala Arafa on this issue.

Dalia Mogahed, formerly Barack Obama’s adviser on Muslim affairs, appeared on Trevor Noah’s sinking-like-a-stone Daily Show last week, to explain to a worshipful Noah and an adoring audience that the hijab represented nothing more or less than the “privatization of women’s sexuality” – and who on earth but the most benighted lout could possibly be against that? Stretched to the Limit: Has the German State Lost Control

After the violent excesses in Cologne on New Year's Eve, German government failures have come to light, with many asking if the country is still safe. Police and the justice system have been stretched to their limits. New laws won't fix the problem, but extra personnel could.

By SPIEGEL Staff
January 21, 2016 – 07:00 PM
From DER SPIEGEL

Of course Tunisia could take back a few Tunisians. Germany would like to repatriate about 1,200 of the country's nationals, but the problems start with the fact that the Tunisian Embassy in Berlin isn't interested, has no time or has other reasons for why "establishing contact with the embassy" has been "extremely difficult," as an official German government document reads.

Tunisia could, of course, easily identify its own citizens using their fingerprints, which would preclude mix-ups. But German officials can't seem to reach anybody. The result: Only six Tunisians were deported from Germany during the first six months of 2015.

Or Algeria. The Algerians have actually nothing against German inquiries as to whether they can send home one of the more than 2,000 Algerians who have been deemed subject to immediate deportation. But the reality is more complicated. Sometimes there are legal issues, sometimes humanitarian concerns and sometimes there are reasons that are impenetrable. In the end, only 24 were sent home.

And finally, Morocco. When the Germans present an expired passport at the Moroccan Embassy for one of the 2,300 Moroccans who have been ordered to leave, it first takes months before a new one is issued. Sometimes, apparently, it takes forever. Only 23 were sent home in the first half of last year. "Repatriations to Morocco, and thus the enforcement of German law, are only possible on an extremely limited basis due to the uncooperative behavior of the embassy," the paper reads.
Has the German State Given Up?

Currently, several thousand people from the Maghreb region are slated for deportation from Germany, but they haven't had to leave because the state, in many respects, has become powerless to act. Not so long ago, it was just a figure that prompted shoulder-shrugging at most. That's how it is, it can't be changed, we have to live with it. But after the New Year's Eve sexual assaults in Cologne, the numbers listed in the internal paper, which was compiled by German state governments, have a new significance. The impotence has remained, but the time for shrugging shoulders has passed. The state stands disgraced and trust is vanishing -- and not just when it comes to deportations, but when it comes to everything that a state actually stands for: internal security. Has the German state given up?

It is a painful diagnosis, and it goes far beyond the chaotic and horrific scenes in front of Cologne's main station on New Year's Eve. The state is suffering from a stress fracture: In key areas it has long been overwhelmed. It is an uncomfortable realization for the German people. The same state that records their lives right down to the smallest taxable detail and last year alone wrote or amended on the federal level around 8,000 paragraphs of law is now failing at its most basic tasks: protecting its citizens; law enforcement; security; public order.

There are financial reasons for the shortcoming: For decades, Germany has skimped on its civil service and cut budgets wherever possible. Now Berlin is paying the price. But the causes go much deeper than that, touching on the fundamental relationship between the German state and those who have recently arrived. In Germany, a 66-year-old democracy, the police have positioned themselves as "friends and helpers," but it is a promise that young men from North Africa don't immediately understand.

It is the clash of two cultures: A constitutional state that emphasizes de-escalation, integration and the empathetic re-socialization of young offenders; and immigrants from authoritarian societies who misunderstand the approach and take advantage of the fact that they, even if they break the law, are neither deported nor toughly punished.

The consequence is that, in some places, law and order is restricted, or doesn't exist at all. Like in Cologne on New Year's Eve. Or in troubled city quarters in Frankfurt and Berlin during the entire year.

The state has accepted its own impotence, and it was perhaps possible to accept so long as tens of thousands of asylum-seekers weren't entering the country every year. But now Germany is facing an enormous task: that of absorbing and integrating hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of refugees. It is a challenge that can only be met if Germany once again begins to consistently enforce its rules.

Police Failures

A good place to start, particularly given the dark events in Cologne, is with the police. How is it possible that the square in front of the train station could morph into a zone of lawlessness? Why was the state not present on that New Year's Eve night? Was there a lack of police? Where they overwhelmed by the mob?

By Thursday of last week, some 650 criminal complaints stemming from New Year's Eve had been filed in Cologne, half of them for sexual assault, three of them for alleged rapes. In 103 cases, sexual assault and theft were combined.

Two weeks after the attacks, victims were still coming forward, most of them women, even if they are fully aware that their purses and mobile phones will most likely never be recovered. And that the men who sexually harassed or assaulted them will never be identified.

By late last week, state prosecutors had only identified 13 suspects: eight Moroccans, four Algerians and a Tunisian. Five of them are in pre-trial detention, accused of theft, receiving stolen goods and resisting arrest. Nobody by last Thursday had yet been detained for sexual assault. Some of the victims have told police they would be able to identify their assailant, but many others have said they could not.

The four public prosecutors and the additional 135 investigators belonging to the special investigations unit assembled to look into the New Year's crimes are doing what they can to collect evidence. Officials have collected underwear from many of the victims in the hope of finding DNA from the perpetrators, from sweat on their fingers, for example. Police are also hoping for leads acquaintances of the assailants. They have announced a reward of €10,000 for information leading to the culprits.

As one of the detective says, they are looking for "a mass of perpetrators" -- which means they will have to sift through a massive amount of data. That includes analyzing, with the help of software, more than 300 hours of footage from CCTV cameras mounted in, on and around the train station. One of their main discoveries so far, though, has been the fact that most of the cameras in the station don't work and that the others are outdated. An equipment renewal is scheduled for 2018.

Officials have also called on witnesses to upload videos from New Year's Eve to their website for analysis. But it seems unlikely that footage from the middle of a crowd on a dark night with bright fireworks going off will be much help.

What is slowly becoming clear, however, is why police failed to provide adequate security that night on the square between the main station and the Cologne Cathedral. Ralf Jäger, interior minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, the state in which Cologne is located, believes much of the blame lies with the city's police department. He says officers failed to "call for badly needed backup" in time. They didn't even take advantage of backup that had been made available.

Will the German people submit, or fight back and expel the invaders? It appears their elected leaders have already submitted.

The Cologne Cathedral Under Attack
It wasn’t only infidel women defiled last New Year’s Eve, but Germany’s Christian religion and civilization as well.

It is the symbol of a city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the most recognised and greatest symbol of German Catholicism and Gothic architecture. But that didn’t save Germany’s world-renowned Cologne Cathedral from a prolonged, humiliating and deafening assault from fireworks during last New Year’s Eve mass to mark the year’s end.

Barbara Schock-Werner, who served as cathedral architect between 1999 and 2012, was present at the well-attended religious service along with several thousand other worshippers. Shock-Werner told the German newspaper, Frankfurter Allgemeine, that the cathedral experienced an unprecedented and massive rocket and ‘banger’ fireworks barrage that lasted the whole service.

“Again and again the north window of the cathedral was lit up red, because rocket after rocket flew against it,” she said. “And because of the ‘bangers’, it was very loud. The visitors to the service sitting on the north side had difficulties hearing. I feared at times that panic would break out.”

Cardinal Rainer Woelki, who presided at the New Year’s mass, also complained about the “massive disruptions.”

“During my sermon loud ‘bangers’ could be heard,” Woelki said in the paper, Die Welt. “I was already annoyed beforehand about the loud noises that were penetrating into the cathedral.”

Shock-Werner believes the religious service was deliberately “targeted for disruption” due to the attack’s timing. The mass took place between 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., which, she said, “is actually no time to be already shooting off New Year’s rockets in such great volume.”

“I was very astonished that at 6:30 p.m. there was already in general a massive shooting off of rockets and ‘bangers’ that had, until now, never been experienced on New Year’s Eve,” said Shock-Werner.

...She talks about her experiences over summer, when a group of Muslims said that her and her friends were “sluts” for walking outside in t-shirts.

“Yes, we were wearing t-shirts. It’s summer!” She adds: “Another day, I was wearing this. My friend and I purchased it while shopping. If we feel like wearing it, we will wear it! And you Muslims have no right to physically assault or rape us for it! God willing, never in my life. You have no right to attack us because we are wearing t-shirts. You also have no right to rape”.

Miss Wilhailm then turns toward what she sees on social media, describing how she has seen, “a 17 year old attacked, a 15 year old attacked, two 12 year olds attacked, so many,” and questions, “why should we, children, have to grow up in such fear?”

“I cannot understand why they do this. But more importantly, I cannot understand why Germany is doing nothing! Why is Germany standing by, watching, and then doing nothing? Please explain, why. Men of Germany, these people are killing your children, they are killing your women. We need your protection,” she goes on to say adding, “The politicians live alone in their villas, drink their cocktails, and do nothing. They do nothing! I do not know what world they live in, but please, people, please help us! Please, do something!”

EU leaders consider two-year suspension of Schengen rules
Leaders will consider emergency measures to reintroduce internal borders at meeting on Monday, as France warns the entire European project is in 'very grave danger'

Snip:

Berlin (AFP) - Germany and Russia traded barbs over a murky case involving the alleged rape of a teenager, with Berlin warning Wednesday against "exploiting" the allegations after Moscow hinted at an official cover-up.

Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier accused Russia of trying to "inflame" Germany's already heated national debate on refugees over the claims by a 13-year-old German-Russian girl.

German police last week rejected the teenager's account that she was sexually assaulted by immigrants in Berlin.

But Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday sought to lend credence to the girl's allegations and charged that her disappearance had been "hidden" by German authorities.

German government spokesman Steffen Seibert on Wednesday hit back, saying "there is no reason, in fact it is unacceptable, for this incident to be politically exploited".

The teenager, identified by Russian media as "Liza", went missing on January 11, reportedly on her way to school.

According to one website the Russian-Germans have had enough of the Arabs and Moroccans:

“According to police, the scene (a migrant Hostel) was attended by around 120 cars with 3-4 Russian Germans in each. The “Southerners”, the Arabs and the Moroccans, tried to resist and fired guns. But they were beaten with baseball bats and bar stools. The “Rusaki”, as the Russian migrants in Germany call themselves, strolled across all floors, said the source to Sovsekretno about the number of Russian migrants residing in Germany.

According to the source, the cause of the massacre was probably the rape of the displaced 13-year-old Russian girl Lisa.

Because the left can't understand Islam, or won't, war is inevitable.

Why the Left Can’t Understand Islam
Learning the truth about Islam would destroy the Left.

The left’s greatest intellectual error is its conviction that the world can be divided into a binary power struggle in which both sides agree on the nature of the struggle, but disagree on the outcome.

For leftists of a certain generation, it was class. Marx began the Communist Manifesto by laying out a primal class struggle throughout human history. For Marxists, everything in the world could be broken down to a class struggle with the wealthy oppressors on one side and the oppressed on the other.

It didn’t matter that this model didn’t fit a reality in which Communists leaders came from wealthy backgrounds and their opponents were just as likely to be poor peasants. To the left, everything is defined by the model. Reality is an inconvenience that is suppressed with gulags and firing squads.

Today the variable is identity politics. Everything must be intersectional. There are those who stand on the right side of history, in favor of abortion, gay marriage and illegal immigration. Everyone who isn’t on board is a racist, even if they’re black or Latino, a sexist, even if they’re female, or a homophobe, even if they’re gay. Once again, reality doesn’t matter. The binary struggle is the model for everything.

The left believes that there is a binary struggle over the future of humanity with only two sides. It does not understand how the right actually thinks and it has no room for understanding equally compelling belief systems that operate outside this model.

That’s where Islam comes in. Or doesn’t...

Apparently, the President's strategy to counter Islamic fundamentalism is to support Islamic fundamentalism. Interesting strategy, though I am dubious of its effectiveness.

Obama To Visit Mosque Tied To Terrorism (To Show Muslims Don’t Support Terrorism)

Islamophilia: In a good-will gesture to Muslims, whom he thinks are being unfairly linked to terrorism after San Bernardino, the president plans on Wednesday to visit a large mosque that merely validates the linkage he decries.

To promote “religious tolerance” for Muslims and Islam, Obama will make the first visit of his presidency to a U.S. mosque that happens to be controlled by a radical Muslim Brotherhood front group his own Justice Department has implicated in the largest terrorist fundraising plot in U.S. history.

Even so, the White House says the president will deliver remarks of support from inside the Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB), which is part of a network of mosques of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which federal prosecutors in 2007 named an unindicted terrorist co-conspirator in a scheme to funnel more than $12 million to Hamas suicide bombers.

Terror-tied ISNA remains on the government’s co-conspirator list despite protests. A federal judge ruled there is “ample” evidence tying the group to Hamas.

In 2008, ISB organized ISNA’s East Coast regional conference in Baltimore. A longtime imam of the mosque, moreover, represented a Treasury-designated al-Qaida front: the Islamic African Relief Association. The Baltimore cleric also has argued for the legitimacy of suicide bombings. “It becomes acceptable (as a method for Muslims) to defend themselves,” Imam Mohamad Adam el-Sheikh rationalized in a 2004 interview with the Washington Post.

El-Sheikh was ISB’s top cleric for 15 years. After 9/11, he replaced al-Qaida cleric Anwar Awlaki as prayer leader of the radical Virginia mosque where some of the hijackers got aid and comfort.

A Sudanese immigrant, el-Sheikh also helped found the Muslim American Society, which federal prosecutors have identified as the U.S. arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide jihadist movement with tentacles in America. The Brotherhood’s credo: “Jihad is our way, and death for the glory of Allah is our greatest ambition.”

“Imam Mohamad Adam el-Sheikh, in fact, is a Brotherhood member,” according to “Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives Have Penetrated Washington.”

When Obama’s huddling with mosque leaders, he might want to straighten out ISB Vice President Muhammad Jameel about Osama bin Laden.

Jameel doesn’t think America’s archenemy was a problem. He thinks the real problem is America. “I hope (his death) does not camouflage the bigger picture, which is to look at what gave rise to OBL and what are the root causes of terror,” Jameel said in a local 2011 interview. “Just eliminating him does not resolve the longer-term problems, which I consider to be (U.S.) foreign policy.”

He went on to not-so-subtly warn that killing bin Laden won’t stop terrorism, so long as America still supports Israel.

So why is the president conferring legitimacy on this extremist mosque and its leaders? Of all the mosques, he picks a Muslim Brotherhood mosque!

“It’s disgraceful that this is the mosque he’s picked to be the first to visit,” Dr. Zuhdi Jasser of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom said. “This mosque is very concerning. Historically, they are basically a radical, extreme mosque and not representative of modern Muslims.”

Obama appears to be circling back to the start of his administration, when he traveled to Cairo and invited banned Brotherhood leaders to sit on the front row of his speech apologizing for the War on Terror.

Rehabing abandon buildings and reinvigorating a local economy sounds like a good idea....until you look at Europe.

Plans are in motion to build a Syrian refugee haven around an abandoned Pontiac elementary school.

The project is the brainchild of some Metro Detroit Syrian-American refugee advocates.

Local businessman Ismael Basha is one of the project’s organizers.

Basha says he and a partner have purchased the former Franklin Elementary School, along with about 120 vacant lots surrounding the school.

“Our vision is to remodel the school, and turn it into a community and social service center, [for both] the new arriving local refugees and the local community,” says Basha.

Basha says they hope to rehab the school, which is structurally sound but “gutted” inside, this winter. In the spring, they hope to break ground on the new housing.

Basha admits that part of the project is still less certain. He says the group is now meeting with architects to plan homes that are “high-quality, yet very affordable. That in itself is a challenge,” he says.

Basha says Pontiac officials have been very supportive of the project. He believes it’s an ideal spot to re-settle new refugees, because the local Syrian-American community is clustered in that part of Oakland County. There’s also access to schools, hospitals, and other services they would need.

Basha says the group is working with developers, but insists this is not at all a for-profit venture. “We are just trying to help our people, and trying to help the local residents in the 5 to 10 blocks around that school,” he says.

The group is also continuing its push for the U.S. to take in more Syrian refugees. It’s accepted only about 2,000 refugees since the country’s civil war and refugee crisis began.

The Obama administration has proposed upping that to as many as 30,000 per year by 2017. Many Syrian-American activists say that number is still too low.

Not much has changed since we fought the Moro's in the Philippines, other than subordinating our national security and the lives of Americans to political correctness.

A century before American soldiers fought Muslim terrorism in the Middle East, they fought it in the Philippines. Their attackers were Moro Muslims whose savage fanaticism appeared inexplicable. A formerly friendly Muslim might suddenly attack American soldiers, local Muslim rulers promised friendship while secretly aiding the terrorists and the yellow left-wing press at home seized on every report of an atrocity to denounce American soldiers as murderers whose honor was forever soiled.

Much of what went on in that conflict, including the sacrifices of our soldiers, has been forgotten. The erasure has been so thorough that the media casually claims that the American forces did not use pig corpses and pig’s blood to deter Muslim terrorists. Media fact checks have deemed it a “legend”.

It’s not a legend. It’s history...

... It is important that we remember the real history of a less politically correct time when American lives mattered more than upsetting those whom the New York Times deemed “sensitive people” and what another publication dismissed as the “sensitive spirit” of the Muslim terrorist.

But as that publication suggested, "It is not necessary to go into spasms about the insult to the Mahometan conscience. Every Christian that walks the earth is a living insult to that 'sensitive spirit'”.

“The murderer may feel that he is unduly treated by being defiled with the touch of the swine, but he can avoid it by refraining from becoming a practical Juramentado. Our sympathies, if anywhere, are with the innocent pig slaughtered for such a purpose and buried in such company."

These days we do not bury pigs with Muslim terrorists. Our political and military leaders shudder at the thought of Muslims accusing us of blasphemy. And so instead we bury thousands of American soldiers.

The editor of Breitbart-London, Raheem Kassam, is calling out the leaders and citizens of Europe and the weak, politically-correct response to the most recent Islamist terrorist attack in Brussels.

Teddy bears, tears, candles, cartoons, murals, mosaics, flowers, flags, projections, hashtags, balloons, wreaths, lights, vigils, scarves, and more. These are the best solutions the Western world seems to come up with every few months when we are slammed by another Islamist terrorist attack. We are our own sickness.

Since the world learned of the dozens dead, hundreds injured, and hundreds of thousands affected by Monday’s attack on the NATO and European Union capital, we have seen an outpouring of what is commonly known as “solidarity”.

This word – most commonly associated with hard-left politics, trades union activism, socialism, and poseur indie rock bands – has come to mean very little in reality. In effect, “standing in solidarity” with someone now means that you have observed the situation, changed your Facebook profile picture accordingly, and patted yourself on the back...

...Thusly, the albeit minority evil amongst British Muslims is thriving because good Muslims are doing nothing. At some point, we have to question why. I’m not sure most people are ready for the answers to that one...

...We must be fearless in electing leaders who we feel will best keep us safe. It is one of the few areas of our lives in which we should be able to feel comfortable. We pay our taxes, you keep us safe.

If not, then we must arm ourselves. If our governments refuse to protect us, or even begin to use the tools with which we empower them against us: surveillance, counter-terror laws, detention, then we will need to take the law back into our own hands. We cannot be afraid of doing so. It is where our societies all sprung from.

The defence of ourselves as individuals. The defence of our families, our properties, our means of production, our communities, and our neighbours...

...And yes, that does mean exactly what you think it means. It means ending mass migration. It means smashing apart ghettos and no go zones. It means repealing laws that allow for Sharia councils. It means asserting what it means to be British, or European, or American, without fearing a backlash from the political left, or the media classes who scarcely see a face my colour let alone darker.

Let them riot. Let them cry.

I would far rather be subjected to ceaseless “direct action” by the scourges of my own society than import others.

At least if my fellow countrymen are deplorable, I won’t get called a racist for pointing it out.

So put down the teddy bears, burst the balloons, and let’s start demanding again that our countries are safe and civilised. And if we can’t find people who’ll make that happen for us… let’s do it ourselves.

When the CINC is running interference for the ideology that motivates the enemy, it makes it rather difficult to develop an effective counter-strategy.

“They are vicious killers and murderers who have perverted one of the world’s great religions,” Obama said, “And their primary power in addition to killing innocent lives is to strike fear in our societies, to disrupt our societies.”

“We defeat them in part by saying ‘You are not strong, you are weak,’” Obama said.

What is Barrack Hussein Obama's opinion of Islam? The following is a list of quotes attributed to our President and CINC:

1. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

2. “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

3. “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

4. “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

5. “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

6. “Islam has always been part of America”

7. “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”

8. “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

9. “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

10. “I made it clear that America is not – and will never be – at war with Islam.”

11. “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”

12. “So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”

13. “In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.”

14. “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

15. “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”

16. “The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”

17. “I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”

18. “We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”

19. “That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

20. “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

This is an informative and interesting view of the hijab written by an Iranian-American who spent his formative years in Iran and Syria. Next time you hear a Muslim apologist, such as Dalia Mogahed, argue that the hijab is simply the "privatization of a woman's sexuality (http://professionalsoldiers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=602475&postcount=45)", or you see a woman wearing a hijab, consider what she has likely had to endure to this point. The oppression she faces from her own family and the male-dominated Muslim community.

Understanding the Hijab
The widespread misconception about Islamic covering among leftists in the West. - Dr. Majid Rafizadeh

I spent most of my life in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria until a few years ago. Now, living in the West, I am stunned with all misconceptions and misleading information about Islam. It seems to me that this stems from a large propaganda campaign coming from various platforms ranging from the dominant liberal media to Western Muslim scholars who have never lived in an Islamic country, but only read books published in the West. Liberals are brainwashed to view the West as the victimizers and the Muslims as the victims.

While covering all the misconceptions would require hundreds of books, I am going to only address the truth about the hijab in this article and the fallacies that are taught to ordinary people in the West about veiling, Muslim women, and the idea of victimhood.

(I have covered other truths and aspects of Islam in my memoir, Allah: A God Who Hates Women.)

Two of my own sisters have gone through the phases of wearing the hijab. I believe that the repression and domination of women in the Muslim world begins with the dress code -- wearing a scarf, or hijab; wearing wide garments, chador; and hiding the body. In other words, the religion of Islam provides the language for men to dominate women by Sharia law, which takes possession of a women’s body from the moment a girl is born.

On the surface, a wide garment, scarf, or hijab looks like a piece of cloth. But, in fact, the dominating power of this piece of cloth is extraordinary. The idea is that once I can control your body, and once I can confine your body, I basically own you.

I believe and personally witnessed that wearing a scarf and wearing a wide garment, do not have anything to do with divine religious rules, as some ignorant imams or Muslims attempt to promote. Hijab is the first crucial step to possess a woman and make her follower of Islam.

I argue that the process of enforcing the hijab on women and making it feel natural to them is carried out through several institutional and psychological steps.

Raymond Ibrahim writes of the distinction between 'radical' and 'moderate' Islam, and what Muslim opinion is of the difference. In summary, he is saying what many on this board have been saying for years. 'Radical' Muslims are those that accept and practice traditional, or fundamental Islam. The 'moderate' Muslims are those that 'ally with and help Western nations.'

According to Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Khadr, the first loyalty of radicals is to Islam while the first loyalty for moderates, regardless of their religion, is to the state. Radicals reject the idea of religious equality because Allah's true religion is Islam; moderates accept it.

Radicals, Khadr charges, also marvel that the moderate "finds hatred for non-Muslims unacceptable."

If true -- and disturbing polls certainly indicate that Khadr's findings are prevalent -- the West may need to rethink one of its main means of countering radical Islam: moderate Muslims and moderate Islam.

After his recent electoral victory, it emerged that Sadiq Khan, London's first Muslim mayor, had described moderate Muslim groups as "Uncle Toms" -- a racial slur used against blacks perceived to be subservient to whites, or, in this context, Muslims who embrace "moderate Islam" as, in his view, a way of being subservient to the West.

I generally agree with Ray Ibrahim. His book, The Al-Qaida Reader, is highly recommended. But my experience has given me a different take on this.

My working definition is a little different:

Group 1 - Radical Muslims. Read the koran. Believe the koran. Willing to kill infidels, see group 4, as commanded by the prophet.

Group 2 - Moderate Muslims. Read the koran, believe the koran. Willing to allow group 1 to do the killing for them.

Group 3 - Liberal Muslims. Haven't read the koran. Don't believe the koran. Culturally muslim. Will be killed by Group 1 after group 4 has been taken "cair" of.

Group 4 - Infidels. Everyone not in groups 1 thru 3. The smart ones will have read the koran, believe that the koran means what is says, and are constantly reviewing and updating TM SOPs.

MEGA MOSQUE Built In Secret In Struggling North Philly: “They never came around and asked anybody.”

WAKE UP AMERICA! Are Mosques going up all across America without approval from the community? Are our local governments selling us out? It would seem like it because we’re hearing of numerous efforts to purchase land and build mosques in several cities. Madison Heights and Farmington, Michigan are two such places. Pontiac, Michigan is another site where a Muslim group purchased a shuttered school and purchased numerous houses for a “special” price of $250.
The poor black communities are targeted and taken advantage of. The people know nothing and are suddenly flooded with Muslims and Mosques. If something doesn’t smell right, it probably isn’t right. Watch for this and push back on it because we’ve gone from a few mosques a decade ago to over 200 today.

JUST MORE than a mile north of Temple University, a 21,000-square-foot mosque is rising next to a struggling neighborhood in North Philadelphia.

The 56-foot-tall structure stands on a former factory lot, next to Amtrak’s main line that rolls through the neighborhood.

The mosque, on West Glenwood Avenue near 13th Street, will serve Philadelphia’s Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and its growing membership, said Bilal Salaam, its imam. It was designed by Olaya Studio, and was based on the White Minaret, an iconic symbol that represents the Ahmadiyya community in Qadian, India.

Ahmadiyya, one of the world’s largest organized Muslim communities in more than 200 countries, worships in Philadelphia at 5210 N. 10th St. The new structure on Glenwood Avenue will be the city’s largest mosque.
Salaam said the mosque is projected to open in September, and will serve 800 to 1,000 people.

But many community members nearby said they were unaware that any structure was being built until construction began.
“They should have talked to us,” said Bernice Rustin, 83, who lives on the 2900 block of Park Avenue. “I’ve lived here for 50 years, and they should have talked to the black community before doing this.”

“They never came around and asked anybody,” added Vanessa McCullough, 53, a resident of the 2900 block of 13th Street. “With the trash, traffic, parking and stuff, it’s going to be so congested.”

The author provides a plausible explanation for why Obama refuses the identify the enemy, fundamental Islam. He is more afraid of Americans than he is of Islamists.

After the Orlando attack, Obama ranted that it did not matter what we called Islamic terrorism. “What exactly would using this label accomplish? What exactly would it change? Would it make ISIS less committed to trying to kill Americans? Would it bring in more allies? Is there a military strategy that is served by this? The answer is none of the above. Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away. This is a political distraction.”

... One of the more shocking moments in Jeffrey Goldberg’s extended Atlantic write-up of Obama’s foreign policy came with his conversation with the Prime Minister of Australia. Obama, who has refused to recognize any connection between Islamic theology and violence, and made the hijab into a civil rights issue, told the Australian leader how he had seen Indonesia turn to “fundamentalist” Islam and noted, unfavorably, the large numbers of women now wearing hijabs as a sign of that fundamentalism.

Obama blamed the Saudis for pushing Wahhabism through imams and madrassas into Indonesia.

It wasn’t an original critique, but also not one that you hear much in Obama’s circles. When Obama reportedly tells world leaders that there will be “no comprehensive solution to Islamist terrorism until Islam reconciles itself to modernity” and undergoes reforms the way that Christianity did, it’s like suddenly having Khrushchev explain why Communism can’t work and will end up falling apart.

It’s shocking and revealing.

In moments like these we see that Obama knows that he’s lying...

Why is Obama willing to talk about Saudi support for terrorism to the Prime Minister of Australia, but not to Americans? Why does he only suggest reforming Islam to foreign leaders in private?

The official story is that it would “empower” Islamic terrorists, but that’s a nonsensical claim. ISIS doesn’t derive its legitimacy from whether we call it ISIS, ISIL or Daesh. Nor are Muslims going to determine the theological legitimacy of a Jihadist group based on whether we refer to it as Islamic.

... But Obama isn’t really afraid of offending Muslims. If he were, he wouldn’t have provided this little peek into his private meetings at all. Obama isn’t afraid of Muslims, terrorists or otherwise, he’s afraid of Americans.

Tell the truth and Americans might suddenly get the naughty idea that instead of waiting for Islam to “reform”, they ought to just deal with the problem at its source with a travel ban. They might decide that extra scrutiny for mosques really is warranted and that airport profiling would save everyone grief.

And, worst of all, they might realize that they have no reason to feel guilty about our foreign policy. If Islamic terrorism exists and is caused by Islam, then America isn’t and was never the problem.

That kind of thinking frightens Obama and the left far more than a hundred Orlando terror attacks...

... The real reason that our leaders won’t name the enemy is that they don’t like us and they don’t trust us. Running through their heads are nightmare scenarios like Brexit and Trump. They see their job as shepherding us away from our “worst impulses” toward a proper role within the global community.

They are quite capable of recognizing Islamic terrorism for what it is. They may not be terribly bright, but people in their positions have more than enough access to information for the conclusions to be inescapable. But they are determined not to allow Islamic terrorism to disrupt their larger plans for us.

It isn’t another 9/11 or 7/7 that worries them, but a resurgence of nationalism in response to it. That is why they will lie, mislead and even criminalize any dissent. Their response to every Islamic terrorist attack is to make us feel responsible, ashamed and helpless by transforming Muslims into the victims.

For these same reasons they will push mass Muslim migration no matter what the terror risks are. They will champion the hijab, even though they know it harms Muslim women. Why? Because these policies undermine our values and transform our countries. And that is their overriding agenda above all else.

That is what we are up against.

They know that they are lying about Islamic terrorism. It’s why Obama dismisses the subject as mere semantics. But it’s only one of many things that they are lying to us about. Obama lies to us about Islamic terrorism for the same reason that he lies to us about being able to keep your doctor.

He knows the truth, but the truth would interfere with the left’s larger plans to transform America.

There sure seem to be a lot of Muslims around the world that are following the wrong narrative, Mr. President.

According to White House press secretary Josh Earnest, “When it comes to ISIL, we are in a fight—a narrative fight with them. A narrative battle.” Earnest said this the day after two separate bombings occurred in New York, and an ISIS-linked Muslim went on a stabbing spree in Minnesota. Obama’ spokesman later elaborated:

What is important in the context of political debate is to remember ISIL is trying to assert a narrative, that they represent the religion of Islam in a war against the west and in a war against the United States. That is mythology. That is falsehood. That is not true. That is bankrupt ideology they are trying to wrap in the cloak of Islam.

This, of course, is a strawman argument: the real question isn’t whether ISIS “represents” Islam, but whether ISIS is a byproduct of Islam. And this question can easily be answered by looking not to ISIS but Islam. One can point to Islamic doctrines that unequivocally justify ISIS behavior; one can point to the whole of Islamic history, nearly 14 centuries of ISIS precedents.

Or, if these two options are deemed too abstract, one can simply point to the fact that everyday Muslims all around the world are behaving just like ISIS...

...(C)onsider a Pew poll which found that, in 11 countries alone, at least 63 million and as many as 287 million Muslims support ISIS. Similarly, 81% of respondents to an Arabic language Al Jazeera poll supported the Islamic State.

Do all these hundreds of millions of Muslims support the Islamic State because they’ve been suckered into its “narrative”—or even more silly, because we have—or do they support ISIS because it reflects the same supremacist Islam that they know and practice, one that preaches hate and violence for all infidels, as America’s good friends and allies, the governments of Saudi Arabia and Qatar—not ISIS—are on record proclaiming?

Have these 'top brass' found some backbone, or are they positioning themselves for a position within a Trump administration? Provided they don't get sacked by our first Muslim President.

It has been over 15 years since 9/11 and almost 1,400 years since the founding of Islam. I suppose this is a case of better late than never.

Pentagon’s top brass explores Islamic ideology’s ties to terror

U.S. Special Operations Command has privately pressed the staff of the nation’s highest-ranking military officer to include in his upcoming National Military Strategy a discussion of the Sunni Muslim ideology underpinning the brutality of the Islamic State group and al Qaeda.

Thus, behind the scenes, the Pentagon’s top brass have entered a debate coursing through the presidential campaign: how to define an enemy the U.S. military has been fighting for 15 years.

The National Military Strategy, authored by the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman, is one of the most important guidances issued to global combatant commanders. It prioritizes threats to the nation and how to blunt them.

The 2015 public version does not mention Islamic ideology. It lists terrorists under the ambiguous category of “violent extremist organizations” and singles out al Qaeda and the Islamic State group...

...Special Operations Command wants the National Military Strategy to specifically name Salafi jihadism as the doctrine that inspires violent Muslim extremists. Salafi jihadism is a branch within Sunni Islam. It is embraced by the Islamic State and used to justify its mass killings of nonbelievers, including Shiite Muslims, Sunnis and Kurds, as well as Christians.

People knowledgeable about the discussion told The Washington Times that SoCom has not been able to persuade Gen. Dunford’s staff to include Salafi jihadism in any strategy draft. It is unclear whether Gen. Dunford has been briefed on the proposals...

...There does not appear to be an effort to include the words “radical Islamic terrorism” in the strategy. But including a discussion of Salafi jihadism would tie acts of terrorism to Islamic ideology.

President Obama has fiercely rejected any connection between Islam the faith and al Qaeda, the Islamic State or any other Muslim terrorist organizations. He argues that they have corrupted the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the Koran. His administration refers to them as simply “extremists.”

The counterargument from many U.S. national security analysts and Muslim scholars is that mass killings are rooted in the Koran and other primary writings and preachings of credible Islamic scholars and imams. These teachings at some mosques and on social media encourage youths to become radical Islamists.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the ruthless Islamic State founder, is a cleric who studied at a seminary in Iraq. Al-Baghdadi has a Ph.D. in Koranic studies from Iraq’s Saddam University.

‘War of ideas’

If the cycle of global jihadism is to be broken, they say, U.S. officials must accurately assess the nature of the threat and its doctrines. If not, Gen. Dunford’s National Military Strategy is, in essence, directing commanders to ignore threat doctrine and relinquish the information battlefield to the enemy.

“If you look at threat doctrine from that perspective, it’s a much bigger problem because it’s not just the violent jihadists; it’s the nonviolent jihadists who support them,” said one person knowledgeable about the National Military Strategy. “Pretending there is no relationship between the violent jihadists and Islam isn’t going to win. We’re completely ignoring the war of ideas. We’re still in denial. We’re pretending the enemy doesn’t exist.”

If they are Ahmadis then it is no issue.
This sect/figh is spiritual and very non violent....they also have some other jurisprudence differences from the mainstream Sunni/Shia.

If all of Islam were Ahmadii we'd have no issue with Islam.

BTW, they are not considered Islamic by a vast number of mainstream Muslims and are killed by ISIS and persecuted by Sunni's just about everywhere.

Damn Kafr's...get your Mooslems straight.... :)

...or deradicalize those leader figures and have them counter the violent jihad ideology i.e. Sayyid Imam in Egypt, Nasir Abbas/Ali Imron In Indonesia, and so on

The French have determined that their attempts at de-radicalization have been a complete and utter failure. I am not surprised.

France admits its “deradicalization” program for jihadis has been a failure

“Deradicalization” doesn’t work: many such programs are based on the premise that the true teachings of Islam are peaceful, and so all that needs to be done is show the jihadis how they’re misunderstanding the Qur’an and overlooking its teachings of peace, and all will be well. But since the Qur’an and Sunnah are full of commands to make war against and subjugate unbelievers, the idea that jihadis can be “deradicalized” by reference to them is just a myth told to Infidel authorities to lull them into complacency.

“France’s De-radicalization Program Deemed a Failure,” by Patrick Dunleavy, IPT News, October 28, 2016 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

The latest attempt by Western democracies to deal with the ever-growing threat of Islamic radicalization in the prison system has been deemed an utter failure. French officials announced Tuesday that they would no longer isolate inmates with jihadists tendencies from other inmates, or offer therapeutic services or specialized counseling aimed at de-radicalizing Islamic terrorists already in prison.

They found that the program actually increased the threat of radicalizing inmates into terrorists rather than diminishing it...

French Prisons to Stop Segregating Islamist Inmates

PARIS—The French government said Tuesday it planned to stop segregating Islamist inmates due to worries the short-lived practice risked deepening radicalism in the country’s prisons rather than stemming its spread.

Justice Minister Jean-Jacques Urvoas said he would shut down four special wards that authorities had established inside prisons in recent years. Instead, the government plans to transform some of the wards into units where inmates will stay for four months to determine if they are hardened radicals. Anyone deemed dangerous will then be transferred to high-security facilities designed for violent inmates or to isolation wards, he added.

The new system cuts short the government’s experimentation with a therapeutic approach that aimed to “deradicalize” inmates through counseling while separating them from the prison[’s general population. Authorities have long worried that French prisons have become an incubator for terror attacks, allowing petty criminals to come into contact with Islamist recruiters.

“I don’t use the term of deradicalization, I don’t think we can invent a vaccine against this temptation,” Mr. Urvoas told reporters...

I wish I could say this surprises me, even in the slightest. It does not.

Obama’s Secret Muslim List
Why enemies of Israel and Iran’s “go-to guy” appeared on the list.

Like a warped Islamic version of Santa Claus, Obama had a secret Muslim list. And his people checked it at least twice. The list was of Muslims who were prospects for important jobs and appointments.

It included a Muslim who had described Israel as an “Apartheid State,” Iran’s “go-to guy in New York financial circles” and a number of figures linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

It was the ultimate religious test from an administration that had vocally rejected them.

Obama had claimed that having religious tests for migration was “shameful” and “not American.”

“When I hear folks say that, well maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims,” he huffed from Turkey. His Muslim host country was run by a bigoted sponsor of Islamic terror.

"We don’t have religious tests,” he insisted.

Except we did and we do. Obama also had religious tests. His religious tests excluded Christians and favored Muslims. That is why his Syrian refugees were between 98% and 99% Muslim with only 68 Christians and 24 Yazidis, even though both groups are real victims of the Muslim religious war...

... The recently revealed secret Muslim list is deeply troubling. There should be no religious test for political appointments. Yet Obama had one. And his people sought to screen out Christians and favor Muslims.

This represents behavior that is in Obama’s own words, “shameful” and “not American.” One can’t help but conclude that, based on his own principles, Obama is shameful and not American.

France is shutting down four mosques for promoting a 'radical ideology.'

It is a start, but if the mosque is teaching the Quran, then it is promoting a 'radical ideology.'

France closes 4 mosques for promoting 'radical ideology'

PARIS – France's interior minister has ordered the closure of four mosques that allegedly espoused a 'radical ideology,' the latest such shutdowns among dozens since the Nov. 13 Paris attacks nearly a year ago.

A state of emergency in France allows for the closing of places of worship where the preaching risks provoking hate, violence or acts of terrorism.

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve ordered the mosques in the Paris region closed on Wednesday. A ministry statement did not name the mosques, located east, west and north of the city.

"Under cover of religion, these places held meetings that in reality were aimed at promoting a radical ideology," the statement said.

Dozens of mosques where radicalism allegedly thrived have been closed and non-citizens, including imams, expelled since the attacks that killed 130 people.

Looks like a reformation of Islam is not forthcoming.

Top Muslim University Rejects Reform, Stands by ‘Terrorist Curriculum’
Al Azhar refuses to stop using radical texts used by ISIS.
December 1, 2016 Raymond Ibrahim

Much of the curriculum of Al Azhar—the Islamic world’s most prestigious university, located in Cairo—is based on Islamic books written in the medieval era or earlier. These books—histories, biographies of Muhammad, hadith (words and deeds of the latter), tafsirs (Koran exegeses), etc.—are often criticized by more reform-minded Muslims for being too backwards, teaching things such as unrelenting jihad and hatred for non-Muslims.

During a recent televised interview, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, Egypt’s highest authority on Islam and Grand Imam of Al Azhar, was asked about his university’s reliance on these books. His responses left many reformers disappointed.

Tayeb insisted that all books used by Al Azhar are fine: “Our heritage books are innocent and being abused by those ignorant or indecent among us—and that’s all they can be: either ignorant or indecent.”

Settling the question in such black and white terms completely overlooks the fact that many of these books are indeed loaded with problematic teachings. It is from these books—in this case, one of the histories of the prophet—that ISIS justifies burning people alive.

He continued his apologia: “Some say, do away with the other, ancillary books of Al Azhar. Okay, but then how can I understand the Koran and Sunna?” He explained that if Al Azhar got rid of the other books, every Muslim would be free to interpret the Koran any which way they want—claiming that that’s what ISIS does. Tayeb even attacked using one’s brain, or reason, to understand the Koran, claiming again that that is what ISIS does.

This was another strange assertion: it is ISIS that most criticizes the free use of the brain, and insists on slavishly following the teachings of those ancillary books—which teach anything from eating the flesh of infidel captives to selling women and children on slave markets.

But the most telling portion of the interview came when Al Azhar’s Grand Imam said:

When they [reformers] say that Al Azhar must change the religious discourse, change the religious discourse, this too is, I mean, I don’t know—a new windmill that just appeared, this “change religious discourse”—what change religious discourse? Al Azhar doesn’t change religious discourse—Al Azhar proclaims the true religious discourse, which we learned from our elders.

Islam is going to reform...one way or another...

...or Islam is gonna win.

...and, then we'll be dead or under Sharia law.

The feminists, and all other folks who don't want to live under Sharia; must see that it is in their interest to join with folks who they ordinarily might not join with and fight radical Islam...
