Warren Buffet shows his true colors...

"You want everybody educated to their potential. You want people to reach their potential. That still won't work for some people in a highly developed market system.

I mean if this were a sports-based system, you could give me a PhD in football, and I could practice eight hours a day, and I might be able to carry the water from, not onto the field, but from the locker room to the bench. There's just some people don't fit well into a highly skilled market-based economy.

They're perfectly decent citizens. We'll send them off to Afghanistan, but they are not going to command a big price."

Warren Buffett is FAR from being a kind old uncle conducting business ethically and morally to amass a fortune over a long period of time.

He is a shrewd shark.

He also has been proven to say one thing(publicly) and doing another(privately).

The best example I have of this behaviour is during/after the GFC and his actions in the reinsurance business to reduce his quite considerable exposure/risk.

I also know for fact he loan-sharked the sh!t out of a US household manufacturer name post GFC where he grinded them worse than a mafia loanshark with worse terms(things were quite tough and he took advantage) due to locked up bank liquidity.

Nothing illegal mind you.

But not how I personally prefer to do business.

His folksy old/wise uncle image is a carefully crafted vaneer over a cunning financial hyena.

About the only thing I agree with Warren Buffett anymore on is that we agree a nuclear weapon(s) will be used again.

There's also been something super weird going on with Buffett and one of the CNBC MILFs.

One of the CNBC MILFs has had special access to him over the years, including literally dragging him into a mom and pop hardware store to use a landline for him to get on the air for CNBC to calm the markets all stroked out in 2009.

I reckon Buffett is a hardcore lefty oligarch, and I bet he's got some skeletons in his gold filled bank vault.

Never really cared for Buffett. He's been a great investor, but has priced all but the very wealthy out of his stock.

Trump has said that he would consider WB for a cabinet position. Non-starter with me. Buffett also supports Sanders.

His son, Howard, is a major benefactor here in Cochise Co. He paid for the sheriff's helicopter lease until it crashed, killing two, last New Years eve. (Second crash, BTW. The first had the son of the new sheriff on board but no major injuries.) Now he is buying a replacement for the county and paying for the maintenance. Yet he has been highly honored by the Mexican government (in 2000, he received the Aztec Eagle Award from the President of Mexico, the highest honor bestowed on a foreign citizen by the Government of Mexico. This is the county whose previous sheriff, Larry Dever, a Mormon, was killed speeding on a dirt road, drunk, and not wearing a seat belt a few years ago. I'm starting to smell a rat.

This quote pretty much sums up my thoughts.

If we cut out cronyism, bribery, blackmail, and fraud out of all of this, Buffet and his ilk, would be on their way to Afghanistan.
