Biography
Daniel Gippert (Echo Davis) started to recognize his talent to write books as he was deployed overseas. With a small team of comrades, which later became a very important factor in his life as an Indie author, he decided to dedicate his writing skills to create a special kind of diary to his family and friends.
With his first book, Homeland Dreams (story of us), he finally shows more than just his own family what it means to be deployed overseas for a long time, never sure if he will return home.
Today he's working as strategical Advisor at a major U.S. Military command abroad.
With more than 2yrs of active field experience in small combat team assignments, during Iraq and Afghanistan, he became also a specialist in teaching aspects and tactics of asymmetric warfare and small-unit combat.
His knowledge and skills are reflected in his books which are focused on military stories.
