Any AAR's???
1. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

Actually, it was all one big misunderstanding ...
Yesterday's incident was nothing more than a casting call for The Walking Dead ... http://undeadwalking.com/2015/05/11/walking-dead-casting-call-bikers-daryl-dixon/
Wonder who it was. Another Hells Angels/ Mongles clash? Well the DA there will be busy. Wonder how many will get the death penalty.
Here ya go ...
Swanton placed the blame of gunfire upon the bikers “flying their colors" at Twin Peaks, with logos emblazoned on the back of their leather jackets identifying them as Bandidos, Cossacks and Scimitars.

Wonder how many bikers got bikers and how many were hit by the police?

Had the police left them alone for 30-45 minutes it might have been a "self correcting problem".......
The pictures were great, many fat grey-hairs bikers....... can you say losers?

DPS: Texas Gang Threat Assessment 2014
http://www.dps.texas.gov/director_staff/media_and_communications/2014/txgangthreatassessment.pdf
And so it goes...
Richard
Texas is filing RICO charges against them.
RICO = Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations
What does that mean?
That they are declaring the various gangs a "criminal enterprise."
The government can then seek to "dismantle" the enterprise: root and branch.
A key component of that process is to seize / confiscate / forfeit all assets used by the "enterprise."
They don't have to prosecute Biker Tom, Biker Dick and Biker Harry one by one.
All they have to prove is that Tom, Dick and Harry are members of "the enterprise."
And it appears that every one of the individuals in the photographs are proudly
wearing leathers declaring themselves members of the various enterprises.
I suspect that shortly the Texas Department of Safety will become the owner of
over one hundred Harley-Davidson motorcycles, some club houses, as many bank accounts as they can locate, etc.
I just read on one of the moon-bat Jade Helm sites that this was a false flag event so that martial law can be imposed on Texas by the Special Forces.
Yeah, it is getting that deep out there!
I’m thinking that Reagan quote needs to be expanded well beyond just some Democrats! haha

Well, the Waco PD/TXDPS/TX Rangers/All other LEOs involved, held their ground quite well and did not "over-react" to the "Mob Response"!!!It's remarkable that there weren't more WIA or KIA!!!
Just released, Fox News in reporting the fight started over a parking spot..
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/05/19/dispute-over-parking-space-may-have-ignited-deadly-texas-biker-gang-brawl/
1)How did multipal MC clubs get invited to the same bar at the same time?
I thought MC clubs had territories that included THEIR bars??
2)As I understand law (at the 0L level) all persons involved in a capital crime can be charges for the capital crime, even if not directly involved. Does that mean we could see 190 1st degree murder charger,, or more?
3)Could the manager of Twin Peaks get sucked in via the RICO charges??

I was wondering why all of their "colors" looked brand new. I thought there was a certain pride in having faded & dirty jackets & patches.
Maybe they have one set for riding, and one set for busting heads?

They were there to discuss terrain and boundaries. Twin Peaks corporate has pulled the plug on their association with that franchise. Guess they have to change the name today. Guess they did not like the fact that the owner/manager did not cooperate with the POPO when they reached out ahead of the date to get cooperation.
This is awkward.
Facts About the Bandidos:
11. Men in the group openly hug and occasionally kiss when greeting and saying goodbye in what they say is a display of brotherhood.

So let me get this right. 200+ "bad ass bikers" involved in a close quarter fight with guns and knives. 9 dead and 18 injured. Somebody needs shooting lessons.
There were not any non participants hit, so I'm calling it good.

Just released, Fox News is reporting the fight started over a parking spot..
Now, I first heard it started in the bar's john. Analyzing the intel, I think we can be fairly certain that one of the fat gut biker losers "parked" his ass over the can, let out a large fart that another biker mistook for gunfire and the 'fight' was on ....
.
*Sigh*
I guess it is too much to ask for 192 dead and 9 arrested instead?

The event was supposed to be a usual Confederation of Clubs and Independents (CoC) meeting, which are held regularly to discuss legal and political issues as they apply to motorcyclists, not the "evil criminal meeting" as the media and Waco PD are trying to portray it as.
This includes many non criminal clubs, such as Bikers Against Child Abuse, Christian Motorcycle Association, and the Special Forces Motorcycle Club, as well as special interest clubs, such as the Vise Grips motorcycle club who build and ride only pre-1970 Harley Davidsons. Some of them are sitting in jail right now, for apparently wanting to talk about motorcycle laws, eat hot wings, and drink beer.
Too bad the actual criminal element has once again f&#$ed up things for everyone else.

I'll bite.
Why would Bikers Against Child Abuse or the Christian Motorcycle Association meet to discuss legal and political issues regarding motorcycles with known criminal gangs? Why would they want to drink beer and eat wings with them?
Or are these groups 'required' to come to such meetings to keep the peace with (or kiss the ring of) the OMCs?
Either way, I'm reminded about the saying of what happens when you lie down with dogs.

I'm pretty sure that the only %1 OMC at the meeting was the Bandidos, and they showed up unannounced. There were reports of several Cossacks bikers attacking a Bandidos biker and ripping him off his bike in the months prior. As for the 100's of weapons, it's Tx. I'm pretty sure it's only illegal to bring them into an establishment serving alcohol, everybody must have expected trouble.
Yeah, I suppose the nearly 1000 of weapons there had nothing to do with it...

The weapons count keeps changing. The latest I've read is 318. I'd say that's pretty low for a sample of Texans.

Because the issues affect everyone who rides a motorcycle, not just criminals and normal folk, and there is power in groups when it comes to lobbying. The non scum do not have to directly interact with the scum at the meetings if they choose.
The meetings are in no way mandatory. Additionally, independents (i.e. riders who are not in a club) are also members of the group and frequently attend.

I disagree. The Bandidos and Cossock are 1% or wanna be 1%. And from the photos they were the predominant groups at this circus. If you invite them or allow them to attend you can't be shocked that you are painted with the same brush that paints them. I do have a question. The Cossocks wear a "69" patch. Were there females involved?

Yes, there is power in groups, but I'd wager than mixing with the 1% does more harm for the lobbying efforts.
(While I know it's not literally 1%, the OMCs make up a statistically insignificant percentage of motorcycle riders. You think they hold a lot of power to change motorcycle laws?)
No, I think the 'non scum' want to rub shoulders with the 1%ers and like the notoriety that it brings.

I'm interested in gun rights in the U.S., but i'm not going to meet with Crips and Bloods that carry guns to discuss gun laws over beers and wings.

^^^This. I've been riding and racing motorcycles for more than 35-years. I've been a member of four or five major motorcycle clubs in America and not one them has a "Chevron" on their back. I have friends that do and I'd gladly drink beer and smoke cigars with them. That doesn't mean we'd agree on riding in groups of more than three or ride from bar to bar for a good time.
Somehow I doubt many 1%'s are members of the AMA.

The want for notoriety may be true for some.
Between the CoC's, and motorcycle rights organizations such as ABATE, they often suggest and/or help write bills which are passed into law, or block potentially harmful bills from becoming law.
While most likely not as big as the NRA, they are similar to many grassroots 2nd Amendment groups, who do help fight for our rights.
There are many people who I do not want to associate with in gun rights organizations as well- at least with the bikers you know who to avoid because they literally wear signs on their backs.
