This is a new thing to me. I had to read up on the beards on Team guys after I saw a couple news photos.
What is an "operator cap", by the way? You talking about a worn, dirty ball cap, right?

99% of the time there's an American Flag on the velcro, but occasionally you'll see other patches. Most of the time it's one of the tan variety.

RIP Beard. We had a good run (134 days and 5 hours). I will miss your warmth in the mornings, our daily cleanings, the conditioner, and the occasional left over particles of lunch. I almost forgot how to shave...in retrospect it was a bad idea to shave on a cold f***'n morning. I now suffer from "baby face".../sigh
