The State Department Air Wing still uses Broncos as a herbicide spray platform conducting counter-narcotics missions in Colombia. Very stout and adaptive airframe. Pilots love them. Big problem getting parts. Survive lots of battle damage and still come home. One could probably see some of them undergoing maintenance/pilot training at Patrick AFB.

Seen them in action in Colombia and they are shit hot. The AV-10X can have a 360 deg rotating 30mm gun pod on the fuselage. Can strafe with it or orbit just like the AC-130
Cheap as hell and rugged.
Plus, static line jumping from them is the most fun you'll have with your clothes on!

California Department of Forestry uses them for Forward Air Control during large fires. They fly high above the fire and direct the other chemical dropping aircraft. There's one stationed at Hemet/Ryan near where I live and I've seen it in action.
