I know there are a few NQPs from the 20th in here, me among them, and thought I'd get something started in this thread.
Had my first drill this weekend with the unit, and this NQP program is definitely good training. We have several very knowledgeable and professional NCOs making sure we are trainging hard and right to get ready for selection and beyond.
For those of you who have seen the Dutch video available on the internet about SF in Afghanistan, that was one of the teams from our unit. It's a little bit of a haul from Houston (7 hr drive), but worth every minute of it.
NOTE: NQP = "Non-qualified personnel." It refers to the non-18 series soldiers in ARNG units who are preparing to go to selection.
