"With the U.S., no matter how many you kill they will keep coming unless the soldiers and the American public no longer have the will to fight," Edmonds wrote, according to the complaint. "If we can break their spirits we will win."
On Feb. 2, Hasan Edmonds contacted the undercover agent again and said his cousin was willing to carry out the attack on U.S. soil.
"Honestly we would love to do something like the brother in Paris did," (more below)

It's a matter of time. I wrote a threat assessment paper addressing this homegrown threat with Fort Bragg (and its training sites) is VERY vulnerable. With a strong online narrative, ISIS has been giving excuse to disillusioned, disenfranchised losers of all ranks and races to turn into a murderous ********. True faith is one's near-unshakable ideology. Once it's set on a radical path, deradicalization is almost wishful thinking and disengagement is our best bet
As usual, former associates, stepmother, and so on are shocked to find out these well-behaved individuals' choosing this path. SJS. Sudden-jihad-syndrome. Nothing to see here...move along.
Some would argue this is entrapment, I say this is a preventive/proactive, efficient approach by the solid threat-oriented, intelligence-driven new FBI. Well done.
