The "Jihadi John" killer who has featured in several Islamic State beheading videos is Mohammed Emwazi, a Briton from a middle class family who grew up in London and graduated from college with a degree in computer programming, the Washington Post newspaper said.

I guess ole "John" doesn't fit the description of the poor, uneducated, miserable, soul that can't become gainfully employed, thus he has to turn to IS and become a terrorist to be fulfilled. :rolleyes:

The report says that the, "Services chose not to disclose the name for operational reasons."...What changed for them to finally out this low life scum of trash?

I don't see anything on the common ground amongst Che Guevara, the 9/11 bombers, OBL, AQ's current leader, and Jihadi John.
There's a whole lot of educated, middle class to affluence in there with lots of opportunity.
The dirt poor might be the cannon fodder, but the educated middle class to affluent seen to be the pool from which bad guy operational and strategic level command originate.
When I read about guys like "Jihadi John", I'm very curious about the psychology of how they got to be what they are. Was it a progressive stage of being fed propaganda (perhaps by family or friends) and thus slowly warming up to the idea that indiscriminate murder is okay in order to achieve a goal they subscribe to? Or were they born with sociopathic tendencies that were exacerbated by those who saw this antisocial behavior in them, and they chose to give into their own inclinations? Or is there another explanation? This kind of evil reminds me of the whole WWII Disney propaganda cartoon Education for Death.

Regardless of whatever the case may be, men (and women) like him need to be stopped at all costs in order to protect innocent human life.

Propaganda? They literally interpret the Quran, the Hadith and the Sira.

If I were his family or relatives I'd be a little worried too, but at least they are in the UK and not America.
