I just purchased a TA-31f off of socnet for $500. I'm wondering if anybody has a link for an online manual for it. I'm especially interested in what the manufacturer recommends as far as lens cleaning techniques.
Thanks,
Jim

So you basically stole it.
Lucky SOB!
Trijicon usually includes the lens cleaning pens (Lenspen) with the optics. They may sell them through their dealers or on line.
Very nice optic, my favorite on a 5.56 carbine. Only downside is somewhat shortened eye relief.
Enjoy it!

Original equipment with the last ACOG I bought was a lens pen (had a fine bristle brush to brush away dust and crap that got on the lenses). Don't know how durable the lens coatings are.
I believe the elevation and windage adjustments are in 1/3 minute clicks (damn metric shit).
Tape over the fiber optic with black hundred mile an hour tape or electrical tape so your 100-yard group builds right at the tip of the chevron (if you do it outside on a bright day it will fuzz out and you won't get a really good point zero -- it'll be even further off-zero the further out you go). Two hundred is at the inside or bottom of the chevron point, 300 at the top of the vertical drop hairline.
$500 for a TA-31F is a steal -- enjoy it!

Definitly a great price. Good find.
I used one in Iraq and love the damn thing. Best avalible for 5.56 right now in my opinion.
I have had very good results with the Zeiss premoistened lens tissues for everything from sunglasses to spotting scopes to eotech screens. Although it would be a good idea to check on the lens coatings before wiping them down with a wet wipe of any kind.

Thanks all for the input!
TR, Yes Sir, I basically stole it as fast as I could for $500!
Sinister, thanks for the tip, I'll do that before zeroing.
The front lense of this ACOG looks like someone tried to wipe off a hershey bar from it. Which is weird because looking through it the image is perfectly clear. Which made me think that maybe what I am looking at was caused by improper lense cleaning techniques that messed up the lens coating.....
I was hoping to find an online manual, but if I can't, I'm sure Trijicon will send me/sell me one.
Thanks again,
Jim

Trijicon will repair it, if you can't fix it and send it back.
Repair should be a lot less than the difference between that and a new one. Or you could just send it to me, I can always use a spare.

The site appears to work fine, but I did think about inquiring to Trijicon what they would charge to "refurbish" it.
I think you have most of us beat on Toys, TR. :)
Wanna make 50% on your investment? I'll buy it for $750 :D Good haul.

I actually threw that up at Gackman on Socnet poly.... :D
Out of all the sites I have (ACOG, EO Tech, Aimpoint, Reflex) I still prefer my Trijicon reflex.....I just love that thing, and I haven't had the "wash out" problems that others have had.

Yes he did... FUCKER!
I'm not helping you with shit Jim! :D
Did it include the mount? If not (or even if it did) pick-up an ARMS 19S.
