Since Frank the now banned spambot was kind enough to bring this topic back up, I figured I'd provide some updated info.
My wife bought me a set of Shox Openrun Pro wireless earphones a couple years ago for when I'm doing cardio on the side of roads. I really like them, or at least the open ear/bone conduction set up, for this application, as it allows me to hear traffic coming from behind me for situational awareness. The sound isn't as good as an in-ear or over-hear set up, but I'm willing to trade a little sound quality for safety.
