I was told by someone in 2nd Battalion that his unit and he believed all of 2nd Battalion were now assigned/aligned to/with 10th SFG and being offered language training in Russian, German , French, or Arabic as opposed to being assigned/aligned with 7th SFG and being offered Spanish, Portuguese, or French. Can someone please explain what battalions have been reassigned and which have stayed affiliated with 7thSFG? Thank you.

You should fill out your profile before asking a question like that. And think about OPSEC before asking the question. Do you really think the answer should be posted on a public board?

Filled it out while you posted sir. My first post. If this violates OPSEC I apologize. How can I find out w/o myself or anyone else violating OPSEC. Thank you sir.

Sport!!! #1. Where the hell is the info that you were asked to provide in your PROFILE ?!?!? (and don't say you were never asked!! READ ALL OF THE STICKIES STARTING WITH THE VERY FIRST THREAD ON THIS BOARD !!!)
#2. If we, and those that do, know, that type of re-alignment information definitely falls within the arena of OPSEC !!!
Mister, I guess, if you have any further questions or need a further explanation of the above, restrict it to PM to me !!!
#3 This was not a warning shot !! Those, I only make THROUGH THE LEFT TEMPLE !!!

Spartan,
Thanks for filling out the profile. On the other question. . . I think Martin has that one covered. :D
For the future, think about the path you're about to embark on. Would you want someone posting information about a unit you were assigned to on the internet?
Stay safe

Thanks guys. Haven't spoken with a recruiter in a few months because I 've gotten more info from this board than the recruiters. After lurking on SOCNET for the last year and ProfessionalSoldiers.com since August, thought this was a harmless first post. Thought wrong. WON"T happen again.
