I wanted to share this one blade I just finished up. It's the largest fixed blade I've made to date at a full 18.5"
It's not on your site yet.

Very nice! Those are some super clean grind lines. Awesome! What kind of steel and heat treatment did you get on that one?

Thanks Guys,
The reason it's not on my site is because it's a one off and they are not fun to make (haha)
I used CPM 154 barstock @ .207 to start. It finished around .207 once I surface ground it after heat treat.
I have an 18" "Even Heat" oven and by putting it in cady corner, I can squeeze in that extra 1/2 inch. The temper was @450 for 2 hours, times 2. The handle is black canvas Micarta that I got from Spartan last year. They gave me a deal on a bunch of cut offs they had at a North Carolina Knifemaking Guild Meeting.
That is fantastic. I like the idea of a Kukri that you can actually stick into something. Most of them have a harder angle that takes them off axis for poking. Wonderful work, thanks for sharing.

Wish you'd had one of those in the shop for me to manhandle when I was over there last weekend!
