Interesting phrasing of the question. . .

According to this site (http://www.voanews.com/english/NewsAnalysis/2004-12-01-voa85.cfm), approximately one in seven serving in Iraq are women.

That's a matter of opinion. Soldiers? I would consider the female pilots and weapons "men" as soldiers. As for ground "combat soldiers" I would hope not too many. IMNSHO. :munchin

In that pic the girl looks like she is wearing mascara... photo op or combat paint?

Another question might be "How many get pregnant and then leave the Men to take up their slack/be forced to take over their duties with no relief".

Did I say that? How politically incorrect of me.

I don't think we want to go there. I don't particularly care for women in combat, but those women don't get pregnant without a little help.

Throughout history soldiers of all nations have left a trail of pregnant women and orphans in their wake. :(

The other side of this could be argued, who got them pregnant and caused their buddies to have to pick up the slack...

I am putting my mod foot down. There are to be no photographs of women in uniform posted in this thread!
