Greetings,

I'm sorry if these two questions have been answered before but I've been searching these message boards and I've spent a long time Googling for this answer but I just cannot find it.

I like learning about what you guys went through during SFQC. I’m aware that medical sergeant MOS training takes much longer than 18B, 18C, an 18E MOS training. I've read elsewhere that those who graduated with 18B, 18C, and 18E MOS training went on to a team and deployed before 18D MOS training even finished. This contradicts what I thought which was that all the people you conduct Robin Sage with were with you from the beginning in the same class. I couldn't get this information from a credible source so I'd like to get the facts from the Quiet Professionals. So my two questions are:

Are candidates from the four entry-level MOS scheduled to begin SFAS and receive their green berets and tabs at the same time? If so, then:
While 18D MOS candidates continue their medical training for several more weeks, what do the other candidates do after they complete their MOS training? I’m wondering if they take time to sign up for additional training at other schools, are assigned to base duties, or conduct more MOS-specific training.

Again, I apologize if these questions have been answered on these forums. This is all I found by myself:
In the thread “Time between phases in the SFQC,” (http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22711 ) forum member Scimitar writes “don't worry they'll find you something to do” in regards to time between schools during the course.

Anyway, as a civilian I enjoy reading about your training and I’m fascinated by the amount of information the SF men needed to learn in such little time. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

Why?

Are you looking to become an 18D?

No. The level of intensity in your training is impressive.
I guess I'm just too curious for my own good. :(
