Smart phone home security

I would like to know if anyone has any experience with the home security systems that a person can operate from an Iphone. I am looking to be able to check the system remotely, as well as get alarms on the phone. It would be nice to be able to raise/lower the garage door, but not a necessity.

I have probably what you are looking for. Don't know if there is a store in your area but the one I used is called 25/7 Protections http://www.257protection.com. The interface between DVR-Router-phone is through IC-Realtime, and a gmail account for receiving text messages about alerts from the motion detectors around the house. I can pull up all my cameras, take still photos from afar, and operate the alarm system remotely from the phone. With a little more money you can add a speaker or microphone to speak or listen from your phone.

I use a hub, sensors, and controllers by Insteon. They are great. The system is app controlled. I have lights, motion sensors, washer water controller, smoke/CO sensors, garage door, controlled.

You can set any of the sensors, etc send you text message or email.
