What if all the homeless Vets we see today, are nothing more than 2Lts lost on a land nav course?
I'm new to the forums.
I looked at the word "Comedy" above like 5 times just to be sure...
and I wanna laugh but I'm afraid. :munchin

That reminds of the times I Land Nav'd with ROTC crowds.
All I could think was, "shit I hope none of these guys are going Combat Arms".
:D
Now I think about it, there was this SF Captain serving as Cadre on one of them, I think his name was Lichens, an NCO who had gone Mustang. I remember him also not being too impressed with the soon to be officers not taking basic combat skills seriously. :P
One day, I was sitting down at a point, doing a foot check, and one ROTCer wondered over, looking decidable lost.
"Excuse me Sir, could you tell me where this point is, it's around here somewhere?"
As I showed him a near by point, and where it was on his map, to help him get his bearings, he explained to me how, he was wanting to go Artillery and therefore Land Nav wasn't going to be important, as Artillery just sits in one place.
...wow.
