"A former Fort Bragg soldier will be honored Thursday when a West Virginia roadway is dedicated in his honor.
Joe Alderman, a native of Bartley, West Virginia, died in 1994, said his widow, Linda Alderman.
The retired Army master sergeant spent 22 years in the military, mostly at Fort Bragg, and later served in civilian roles as deputy installation range officer and deputy and technical advisor to the director of training and doctrine at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School....."
Lots of the older crowd knew Joe.
