A good read on how the Dems have taken control of the Appeals Courts...and as we head towards November elections what else may be at stake.

The Supreme Court remains the only court that Republicans can still try to shape through using the filibuster. When Democrats changed the Senate rules to lower the threshold for most confirmations, they left one exception: The minority party still can require a 60-vote majority to confirm a justice.

Elections have consequences.

Winner gets to pick the judges.

All you folks on the far right who didn't get the perfect candidate so you sat it out or went third party after the primary? Well, this is what you get. Lasts far longer than an election cycle.

Now the question becomes - if the R's take the Senate how long before the press starts beating them up over the rules the D's invoked - so they rescind them so the press likes them.

Stupid, stupid R leadership.

If we can just get Hillary into the Whitehouse, we might finally get to see some permanent changes...

(Give that Statue of Liberty a revolver and one bullet...she'd really appreciate it if HRC wins the day.)
