Rand Paul appears to respect the separation of powers.

I believe that Presidential EOs can be rescinded by the incoming President - until then they stand.

Below are a couple older articles that sets forth the basics and some detail on EOs.

My understanding is that an executive order is only good until the POYUS that gave it leaves offcie. I could be wrong on that, but I remember hearing that someplace.

Not true.

We are still under EO 12333, and that was from President Reagan.

Rand Paul is a clown.

Does he realize that he would be revoking the Manual For Courts-Martial?

He's just another power hungry fool looking for a angle to get elected. There's roughly a 0% chance of him following through on this.

I like him better than the alternatives.

I'm tired of holding my nose and picking the most least desirable candidate.

Got one in mind? It has to be an R because 3rd parties NEVER win, but ALWAYS hurt.

I don't. The process prevents most decent people from seeking the office. The current cast of characters presumed to be running on both sides make me want to vomit.

Which revoked EO 12036 by Carter, who expanded Ford's EO 11905!
