View Full Version : Retired a good friend today, the T-2

After carrying my Harsey T-2 for about 100 years I finally decided to retire the knife. Mr. Harsey signed it for me and you can still see his signature. But the knife is getting old and I don't want to wear off his signature. The T-2 will now become the "safe queen".

So I've gone to a new folder, the Umnumzaan.

Too bad you have to protect the T2 for posterity; fortunately, there is no way you can go wrong with any CRK offering. (Besides - I like using friend's products too!)

Yup, I also have a 21st Anniversary Sebenza (15 of 21), a Large Sebenza 21 - with Micarta Inlay (and my initials), and a Harsey custom only two in the world...... The custom Harsey was made with a three piece suit in mind, and I think its carbon fiber handle.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow of all of them.

This could be summed up nicely with "chatter chatter chatter....take my money Mr. Harsey"

Interested to see the rare ones you have in the inventory.

Perregrino... who did the engraving for you? Chris signed the blade of my knife, but the crest on yours is stellar. It was interesting at SHOT a couple of years ago when Chris hijacked all our Sebenzas for 'maintenance'... Love my Classic 2000.

Once the Spartan boys clear me, I have a new one to post....

Chris' crew. I heard a rumor, went to Anne "on bended knee", and grovelled (exercised every bit of my wit and charm - unnecessarily, but it was good practice!). Worth every bit of it. I think it's only the second one they did. As TS can attest, their custom shop does superior artisan work.

My kitchen knife, I placed the Yarborough knife next to it so you could see how big it is.... and yes I use it all the time.

Can you name it?

Looks like a Shun knife.

Sure is, I have 8-9 Shun knives. I also have a few more knives around here..... I'll have to find them......

Chris Reeve 21th Anniversary Sebenza

And there is a "Story" behind the Artistic Embelishments on this one!! When the Knife is open and you are looking at the side with the Zulu Spear, it represents: From the Plains of Africa where the Zebra Roam, following the "Wisdom" of the Zulu Spear it points to Boise, Idaho where they now Reside!!

A small collection.......

They're all top-notch. Definitely a collection to be proud of.

And by the way, I've seen more than one unsigned Harsey T2 go for upwards of $400, over the last year or so. Not suggesting anyone sell them, so we're clear. Just keeping folks apprised.
