But hey, what do I know, they probably just got there by accident since they didn't brush up on their land nav.

Nothing to see here, Comrade. Move along.

Putin is consolidating his winnings. He wants to make sure his navy has a place to play. Next may well be his interest in Kaliningrad to consolidate access for the Baltic Fleet. His goal? JMHO, but methinks Vlad wants to take as much as he can from our Golf Boy before someone he can’t bullshit gets elected. (WWRD…What Would Ronnie Do?)

Ukraine accuses Russia of launching invasion

(Reuters) - Ukraine accused Russia on Thursday of mounting an invasion in the southeast of the country in support of pro-Moscow separatist rebels.

Ukraine's security and defense council said the border town of Novoazovsk and other parts of Ukraine's south-east had fallen under the control of Russian forces who together with rebels were staging a counter-offensive.

"A counter-offensive by Russian troops and separatist units is continuing in south-east Ukraine," the council said in a post on Twitter.

President Petro Poroshenko, in a statement explaining his decision to cancel a visit to Turkey, said: "An invasion of Russian forces has taken place."

Russia denies intervening in Ukraine by arming the rebels or sending soldiers across the border. The defense ministry declined to comment on reports of Russian tanks in Novoazovsk.

“The Russian authorities clearly said many times there are no regular Russian troops there. Russia is not taking part in this armed conflict,” said a Russian diplomatic source.

Ronnie would have shot that little sawed off turd from his horse and rode into the sunset. Maybe Golf Boy will suggest a beer summit...that oughta work.

President Reagan would have kept his word and not expanded into eastern Europe as agreed with Gobachev in December 1989.

Unfortunately the days of Presidents keeping their word seems to be over. Now its all about keeping the energy giants and banks that paid for your election campaigns happy. There seems to be no small amount of people that should know better buying the BS hook line and sinker.
