I thought this would be of interest to some. Seems the softwear has been adopted by U.S. Special Operations Command.
The technology has been adopted by high-profile organizations in more than 20 countries, including U.S. Special Operations Command, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the Canadian military, and U.K. law enforcement agencies. The U.K’s Scotland Yard was the first to use the technology as its bomb database.
I could see this being very effective in the UK where they have street cameras on just about every corner and building. Big Brother works over there, so this would have a great platform to work from. US wise, I don't see it much.
