My Brother sent this to me. He scored 130, I came in at 122. I guess he got the brains , I got everything thing else. :lifter
Having just completed a battery of test for a study, this example, at least for me was spot on. Interesting.

Interesting results - several years ago I was tested so that I could enroll in the so-called gifted classes. My score then versus now is only 2 points different. I missed enrollment, in that particular program, by 1 point. I was quite alright with that because that meant less homework and more classes with cheerleaders. :lifter
Today: 136
Back then: 134
Over 140 Genius or almost genius
120 - 140 Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 Superior intelligence
90 - 109 Average or normal intelligence

Not so accurate for me. It missed my "official" proctored test results by almost 40 points.
I just went back and deliberately missed every question to see what it would say. It gave me a 100. It's crap like this that has everyone thinking that they are above average. I have news for the people that create these types of quizzes. You can't establish an average if it is impossible to score lower than average.
Only 4% of Americans believe they are below average intelligence. Quizzes like this one only reinforce the belief

I do have reservations on this test as I've really never taken one. Repeated the 3rd grade and barely made it through Jr High and High School. I did excellerate in your regular classes, ie football,baseball and wrestling. And was at the top of my class in learning how to smoke, drink and fight. Some how I do manage to end up in good company.

Interesting. I have officially been tested twice, once at the end of Jr. High and again, after the Army, as part of a student's Masters project at the UofA. The first score was 128 and the second was 132. This quick test result was...132. Go figure.

130 according to this test. I detect a trend. I wonder how many people truly don't place in that range on this test.
I have never officially been tested before. I have taken various other test of this kind just for laughs. How smart they say I am always depends on the type of questions they ask. I always do well on complete the series and is this similar to that type questions. But if they time the questions or ask me how many words I can get out of one large word, I tend to flunk out.

From my experience, school marks are a terrible predictor of one's success in life. FYI from what you have stated, Howard Gardner would state that you have a very high kinesthetic intelligence. This may also explain your skills at fighting . . .

OK, it's one thing to take a test and post the scores of a quick online test. Clearly the limited number of questions also limits the range of scores, hence the duplication. If (1VB)compforce is correct that, on his second run, he answered all the questions incorrectly (and that may be impossible to know since he missed some originally that he may have answered correctly the second time), and it gave the average IQ for the aggregate population, then we should be able to put our combined eggheads together and determine the methodology of this specific test to see how accurate it actually is.

The methodology is pretty straightforward... Questions answered correctly with weighting based on time taken to answer the question. (you can see the grey time bar above the question).
btw, some of the questions asked in the quiz were stolen verbatim from http://www.mensa.org/workout.php
If you want a better indicator, the workout is going to be better, but is untimed and just tells you a score based on the quiz.

You sure about this? As best I can tell, time has no effect on your score with this test. Having played around with this test, I am pretty sure it is effectively worthless. You can try really hard to get a bad score and still come up looking like your above average.

Crap! Really!? I just put up a facebook post proclaiming that I am smarter than every one of my friends because of this test. You mean it may not be accurate? :(

At SFAS I scored in the 94th percentile on an official test meaning roughly 124-125. Wish I never knew what I was because I wasted so much time wondering about my true purpose in life when I've known all along.
