So, after seeing countless charities collecting for Veterans, these guys just took it over the top. Confronted, they produced xerox copies of non-matching corporate documents, ID cards that were clearly home made, not to mention the table swag, I called the manager out at Sams, and then called the police.
It was entertaining for a bit, now they have to get all their paper work in order. Their American Legion Post #182 and National Office as well as the Director of the Vets Center, who'e card they presented, from the City of Trenton stating that they were "authorized" to collect donation are being contacted.
Edit to add: The manager of Sams Jannella Guido shut them down when it was discover that they were not Veterans, or members of the AL Post.
A positive outcome.
