Might get a little frisky in Ferguson tonight.....

To summarize, in addition to the heavily militarized police presence, and the barring of journalists and protestors, the government just prohibited news helicopters. Which, of course, is simply government code that tonight Ferguson may get "turbulent."

I don't think there will be any large groups of whites marching, burning and killing.

When was the last time we saw that, anyway?

Sorry Gents,

Could someone elaborate on '68 / '17 reference, for those of us less versed in American history?

Sigaba,

“This is exactly what is supposed to happen when an injustice is happening in your community,” Smith said as he stood before a smoldering QuikTrip. He went on to say arson and rioting are appropriate responses to slavery.

Or how about Activist James Clark -

We have been very, very neglectful of the St. Louis community, as in communities all over America, when you look at the urban core. There is an obvious disconnect where we have allowed a subculture to grow and fester within our neighborhoods.

And so we have learned that we cannot shut people out. we cannot disregard people’s need to be welcomed into society because it means that the individuals are now angry, and they have the right to be angry.

So — so, and we in some way have to thank them for giving us a wake-up call. And now that we have the wake-up call, we must mobilize and go into our neighborhoods and offer them a sense of hope and a sense of purpose.

If DeAndre Smith and James Clark are any indication of what "they" are thinking I am doubting they would have any idea what happened in 1917.....they are just looking for a martyr so they have an excuse to rape and pillage from those that appear to be better off then themselves.

"No free shoes...no peace."

I feel for the family of the young man that was killed.

AG Eric Holder will undoubtably make sure that Police Department involved in the shooting and the specific officer involved undergo a thorough investigation.

But please, the looting and rioting is getting old. There is no legitimate excuse for this behavior.

Sister in law address is 138th and Willis Ave, The Bronx. She said today, that CNN is full of it, and that they are "Ammo-ing up"! That's the heart of the Bronx, but not for the racial component, but for the mooslim gangs that have moved into the neighborhood. They think with the bombing of Iraq NYC going to get hit where people live, not where they work.

Sorry to hear about the gangs - MOO, if Americans are hit in their homes - our enemies underestimate the wrath of the American people. The politicians and the media won't be able to help the gangs, here, there, everywhere. With the gloves off, and no political and media cover, this is a very, very different conflict.

Have there been any incidents of white mobs attacking innocent blacks and razing the landscape in the past 50-60 years?

Roof Koreans for hire. Much success during L.A. Riots, no looters at our stores. Added bonus: can't be accused of racism, especially if violent mobs are fired upon. Will provide own ammo, but will charge extra for any rounds spent.
