Interesting concept bike. Low tech build with good mileage, modest cost, and readily available parts..

Very cool!

My first thought when looking at it had me thinking it's like a modern interpretation of the Swiss Army bicycles.

I'd be thinking it should get far better than 100mpg with a light load on flat ground compared to other similar displacement products.

Neat looking design(we have an outfit down here that built something very similar about 6-7 years ago), although I'd think some rubber bushings on the motor mounts might make it less buzzy through the frame...it looks like a solid mount in the photos.

Take some of the crossbow, tomahawk, e-tool poop off of it and some well designed carrier frames and you could put a decent amount of bags on it for daily commuting/shopping.

Hmmm, I happen to have a nice running 50cc Honda motorcycle in my shop right now. Not sure I'd want to spend 2k on a frame for it though.

I think it's gears are based on a mountain bike scenario, so the ratios are not optimum for flat land MPGs//

Al, 2k for a good mountain bake frame is about the norm.. They are built to be bashed and abused, throw on 100lb ruck??

Good point.

I wonder if a hot swap final ratio kit would make sense for this?

One final drive for the rough/hilly terrain. One final drive for flat.

When you look at the Honda Cub type scooters, and Hero Honda in India cranking out millions of units a year, lots of potential here.

Screw that. I am wondering how to supe it up. Exhaust, cams to make it go faster. :D

I love my fast bikes and cars(currently driving a free rental upgrade to the big motor Hemi Challenger R/T :) ).

But I also like the stories about resilient vehicles, like those little Hondas and those Kamaz trucks I saw in Afghan.

Often it's that compromise between performance and durability.
