Apparently this happened a few nights ago.

Queen Beatrix of Holland attends an Orchestral Concert. The Conductor, who just happens to be Muslim, proceeds to give the Queen a lecture on the "beauty" of Islam.

The members of the Orchestra stage a walkout!

Apparently this happened a few nights ago.

Saturday, September 03, 2011.

A man interrupted a concert in Amsterdam Saturday night. He climbed up to the stage said he 'served Allah" and called everybody present to join the faith.

The gala concert celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Society of Dutch Composers, and was attended by Queen Beatrix, who stayed seated throughout the commotion. Apparently, the man had asked other attendees at the beginning of the evening whether the Queen would really be present.

After a minute security showed up, and removed both the orchestra and the Muslim. The Muslim said 'there is no bomb', but police checked for bombs nonetheless. The concert was later resumed.

According to a police spokesperson, the man is a well-known for interrupting events.

And they say, "Nothing is achieved by violins?"

And they say, "Nothing is achieved by violins?"

...which reminds of of a quick fling I had with a gorgeous gal in my younger days. She brought me to her bedroom and I noticed she had a few violins mounted on her wall. I asked her if she played, to which she replied, "No, this room is rated NC-17 due to graphic displays of sex and violins."

:D

Had my music teacher been anything close to this gal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XaZpnFJf0E), I would've made better grades in Music Appreciation. :D

Just figured I may as well jump on the hijack bandwagon...

...feel it's the best way to support what the Orchestra did....and just ignore the asshat.

If that was a trespasser on the stage, and the Queen's staff finally realized that the reciter of beautiful Islam was not on the program, the band members may not have been walking out,

maybe they were just giving the Dutch Secret Service clear fields of fire.
