I am an intermediate/amateur connoisseur of sorts for vintage and antique military items. There are specific trading and verified auction sites online but thanks to dumb asses that don't do their research, on eBay and Amazon, you can find great bargains such as a 1902 ceremonial U.S. Navy Infantry cord? or a Marine Corps officers ring w/ sky blue crossed rifles and the USAR eagle insiginia and the WWII Field Artillery braclet (CIB). If only their was some sort of worldwide database you could search for pictures and knowledge.

What is the point of this thread?
I am amazed at what you can find and sell on Ebay....WW1 collectors in Texas and Spain went wild over this

Here's a sort of related question i never got to ask....I know some 18 series receive CIBs; do you get them awarded for 'expedition" ops as well or only in notable campaigns? Not sure if I used correct wording...

You know you can google the answer to that.

Roger, already on it. Forgive if the 1st comment isn't relevant to the site was curious to see what some QPs collect and thought it would be a valid topic to discuss.
