The South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association (SCUPA) and Legal Staff Professionals of Greenville (LSPG) are hosting "Greenville's Inaugural Professional Soldier Soiree." This will be a semi-formal event on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 6-10 pm at the Poinsett Club, East Washington Street, Greenville, South Carolina. The event will begin with a cocktail hour and silent auction with live entertainment by pianist, Eric Barnhart. Dinner and presentations will follow.
Our honored guest is a Green Beret with the United States Army Special Forces who resides in Greenville. He was injured in 2012 when he stepped on an IED while serving in Afghanistan and suffered numerous injuries, including the loss of a leg. He and his family have received tremendous support from the Green Beret Foundation while recovering. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Green Beret Foundation in his honor.
The Green Beret Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial resources, immediate need supplies, caregiver assistance, and educational scholarships to wounded, ill and injured Green Berets and their families, as well as the families of those Green Berets who have been Killed in Action. It operates with high efficiency in the most challenging special operations environment, mitigating the burden of America’s most elite warriors, and facilitating their return to active duty or a successful transition to civilian life. From commencement of operations in 2009, it has met critical needs for hundreds of Green Berets and their families.
Single tickets for this event are $75 per person. Corporate sponsorships are available at three levels, and each includes a table for ten people. The pricing and information are as follows:
Bronze $1,000 Sponsors will be listed in the program
Silver: $1,250 Sponsors will be listed in the program and provided free ad space
Gold: $1,500 Sponsors will be same as silver and receive a plaque
